  1. Our starting QB is Jacob Dixon. His brother Jessup is the backup QB. Jessup is the one who broke his collarbone. Colt Risner will play backup QB in his place.

    Combine

Your not lying about the warm up. We ran around the field twice before we even stretched. My forty was also about two tenths slower.

    Region 6a

I come on here about once a week, and it never fails to see Ruddle31 on here crying about Collinwood or something else. Why do you cry when someone puts something good on here about Collinwood? It's their opinion. Another thing is, why would anyone want to make a post about this kid being a great college recruit, when all he does is whine. Nobody wants a baby on their team. Good Luck To Collinwood!!!
  4. With the combine coming up who are the players from division 1a who are planning to attend.

    Collinwood

First off, this is a Collinwood post not a Waynesboro post. Second, every message you boys from Waynesboro put on here just ticks us off even more and it just gives us even more motivation for August. You don't see anyone from Collinwood putting their nose in Waynesboro buisness.
  6. 3 kids from Collinwood were choosen.
  7. Jerrad might be a basketball player, but he has been lifting and doing agilities with the football players since basketball season is over. He is planning on playing. I didn't exagerate on the height or forty time. I went back and changed some that might have been off. I was just giving ya'll an idea of what we have coming back, ya'll don't have to get your panties in a wad over this. Ya'll are free to put ya'll height and weights just like I am. Just because someone weighed a certain weight at football season doesn't mean they didn't get bigger, stronger and faster. If you dont beleive me go to www.colliwoodtrojans.com and look at the rosters, keep in mind that some of the freshman grew as the became sophmores. [Edited by eugene on 3-10-03 1:56P]
  8. Those #'s came straight from the roster sheet. The only thing blown up on them is the weights and that's because I had to guess because they were not on their. Matthew Daniel ran a 4.67 last year. He ran a 4.59 in Jan. If you don't believe me ask Colt, who ran a 4.74 in Jan. And I also never said we will be better than last year talent wise, but we will be closer as a team this year. By the way what is you r forty time Steven.
  9. Alot of those players played behind Victory,Ward,Green, and Rich. They didn't have a chance prove anything. We are a bigger team as a whole than last year. During the Waynesboro game last year when Ward was takin out Colt led the offence down the field just as easy as Ward did. Our line will be better this year. The only decline will be at QB and WR. I also think that the region will come down to the last game of our season. Gonzo, what is your possision and bench press?
  10. For the Waynesboro kids that are talking trash about Collinwood, here's a little info of what the Trojans have back: 6'2 325 pound Josh Benedict, who was injured all but two games, will play OL/DT. 6'3 240 pound OG/DT Jamie Mclain, all-region 6' 200 pound OG/LB Jason Roberson, all-region 6'3 210 pound RB/WR/LB Matthew Daniel,all-region, runs 4.59 5'9 165 pound RB/QB/SS Colt Risner, all region, runs 4.67 6'2 165 pound TE/LB Adam Whitten We also have some sophmores who will make a great impact this year: 6'2 215 pound OT/DE John Daniel 6'3 225 pound FB/DE Ryan Lee 5'11 200 pound C/LB Wes Butler 5'10 155 pound QB Jacob Dixon Also we have so kids move in this year and will have an impact: 6'2 195 pound RB/LB Chris Simpson, runs a 4.69 6'4 175 pound TE/DE Anthony Bowers 6'5 245 pound TE/DE Jerrad Calton 5'11 170 pound WR/CB Caleb Berry And for the comment about Coach Statem not being a great coach, It's kind of funny that the Associated Press named him Coach of the Year for all Divisions. 11. I was talking about unity. We know they were three of the best who have ever came through Collinwood, but our talent level was down three years ago and we had to rely on team unity. Thats what took us to the quarter-finals. We have been relying on talent for the past two years.
  12. You talk about how good ya'll will be because of your off season workouts but I have been hearing that ya'll have alot of people who can't handle it, and they are quiting. The way I see it Waynesboro and Collinwood will have the best teams in the region along with Huntland. Collinwood players are not going to talk any smack about how good or bad we will be. We will let our play on the field do the talking. We got the big head last year and blew it. The big ego people are gone. We will be better without them.
