Deiron why is it that almost all other games get regular updates on the coach t scoreboard but the owls game. If you hear anything please post and I will too

A few years ago this thread would be 12 pages of smack talk. the times they are a changing. last home game for owls this year unless they get on a run. GO OWLS

The Owls have playoff caliber potential if they fix a few problems. first they have to learn to hold on to the ball. every RB was holding the ball away from their body. they could have had more than the five fumbles they did have. second stop the stupid penalties. there is no reason to go after a punter who is punting from the back of his own endzone. third other than #40 I saw a lot of arm tackling when the runner is in space. This leads to big gains

Good game too many mistakes by owls. they need to learn to wrap up the ball.

Getting to see the owls for the first time this year. who are the playmakers I should look for?

I won't be able to make it to the game like I had planned. Hope someone can update this thread from time to time at least at the half and end of game. Go Owls bring the quarterfinals back to the nest.

There is still lots of talent at Ooltewah. Coach Williams is maturing into a good coach. I went to every game but the Siegel game and except for a few breakdowns they either won or should have won every game. Very good D especially when they use proper tackling technique. Good balanced O with a variety of backs a couple of burners and a couple of bruisers. Receivers are very good and can take it all the way on any play. If the line gives the QB time he can be very good. Will lock on a receiver sometimes which leads to some picks.

ORidgekat that is my major concern about this game the Owls can stop most anybody for a large part of the game they always seem to have mental breakdowns and allow big plays. They have the skill now let's see if they can get it done. Good luck to OR in their playoff run. I miss the trips to Blankenship although I hated that train whistle.

After a good win last night the Owls head north. I don't know much about Powell except other than OR they blew out everyone they faced. I think the Owls have the talent to play with any team they just have to quit having the mental lapses that lead to big plays. Let's hear from you Powell fans about your O and D strengths and weaknesses.
