  1. You were right last night. Layton got in foul trouble early and didnt play much, so I was wrong, but thats only the 2nd time Ive watched him. He played well against science hill. Sorry but we didnt put up much of a fight last night. We cant make layups, we cant make free throws, and heck if hess is going to play like that then sit him on the bench. He had so many chances to pass the ball, but instead he did his little spin and throw the ball up shot. Heck he even show it backward twice.
  2. From what I have watched this year, the only reason science hill is the top is because they have more weapons. They are not just giving the ball to Omar. As a matter of fact hes not living up to expectations from what I have seen. From the other teams, it seems as you just need to stop one player to beat them. For east it is of course the snapp kid, from Tennessee high its the Layton kid, from Boone id say just put a lot of pressure on them and they will crack. But the transfer is going to get his shots so just stop him. Havent seen DB or any of the others play yet.
  3. Cap I made my way to science hill tonight to see what my boys are going to be going up against when they play your boys. I do recall a good game for the most part. Omar was gone for the whole first quarter and oddly enough they did call more fouls on him than usual, but I dont know what game you were watching because the vikings were not fouling at the end of the game. The hilltoppers were just fast breaking and blew the game wide open. So you trying to make your boys look better than they are is not working because I made a special visit to come watch them play.
  4. Thats just dumb on THS' part because apparently the players are not major contributors if they barely get in the game on varisty, so why not play them in the JV game? The kid cant get any better. And next year if he does get in the varsity game he is going to be so nervous hes not going to know what to do.
  5. East is that tough. They actually have a true big or semi big guy. Atleast hes not outside shooting threes. And it is probably the quickest team I have seen east have in a long time. They play excellent defense and just straight shoot lights out all night.
  6. Yeah he has been so right lately hasnt he. Especially about the kids that start for their teams. He was even right about his son starting for Tennessee High. But maybe before he decides to tell us his son is starting he should teach him to play some defense and handle the ball a lot better. He's nothing like his older brother now is he cap. Better attitude but not enough skill.
  7. Im thinking that most teams should go with a box and against east with a player on snapp and also do it against science hill with Omar. Make someone else beat you. Witcher is a smart coach though, I dont you all will get beat next time or atleast not that bad.
  8. When the kid pulls the three in the guys face, there isnt much you can do to stop him or slow him down. I have seen the kid play and Everyone should know if he comes down the court with the ball odds are that he is going to pull it from as far back as he has to. So i dont think you should say the coach didnt make adjustments, because I'm sure if he was shooting like that then every coach would have said something. Maybe your son just couldnt guard him?
  9. I agree, hey everyone gets mad at someone every once in a while. Atleast he didnt take his anger to the court with him haha. And what is it with the refs and all the fouls being called this year? way too many fouls being called.
  10. lol your alls posts are cracking me up. Guess we finally busted Omar, Its funny how he gets on here and talks about himself.
  11. Well I dont like your chances against us, and there is no way your Vikes can play with Science Hill because they have way too much depth.
  12. Dont the vikings host the rebels tuesday also? if so then you might be the loser cap
  13. I agree, white station Is always a great team to watch play. Everytime they are invited, they are usually in the running to win the whole thing. That is probably the reason they are not always invited, but I think if they would be invited every year, then that would make for a great challenge to bring even better teams to play. The teams are good, but they could be a lot better. Just take out most of the locals. The local teams help bring attendance, but I think all the people that come to those games would still come anyway, because the teams like Elizabethton, Boone, and East, usually only last 2 games, 3 at most.
  14. I had to miss all the games, so could someone update me on all the scores?
  15. Im just being realistic, everyone knows who is going to finish 1st and 2nd. Science Hill and DB Pretty bad probably around 90 -0 ? But no matter how bad you lose, either by 2 or 100 its still a loss.
