Not to say that Baylor is lacking talent in the room this year, but coach Morgan, Shacck and Russell have turned some relatively inexperienced wrestlers into state contenders, as they do year in and out. There has been a great atmoshpere in the room all year, large number of J.V wrestlers pushing the varsity squad every day.

What ever you have to tell yourself to get to sleep at night I.D. I am no punk, the information was first hand and I will stick by my original post.

i have thought about no more post concerning I.D. but I couldn't resist. Your classy side is `the rest of the story" after your son came from a 8-0 deficit @ the McCallie Invit. to defeat the Baylor wrestler ,which he did and left alone would have stood for itself as -job well done. But no old I.D. had to go down on the mat seek out the father of the losing wrestler , who had moved on to photographing another wrestler, I.D. taps him(father) on the shoulder and asks "how'd you like that" . I can't imagine that you and your "classy side" are anything but an embarrassment to your beloved irish

Jim Morgan of Baylor has got some serious "guns"

Trying to decide whether at attend the Mccallie-Soddy match tuesday @ 6:00. I know steve henry will bring his varsity, but in the past Connell has kept his line up a secret until the Baylor match. I do not believe he will have the same luxury this year (if he wants to be in Clarksville), because John Mullins team is coming on strong.

Walker will lose at 189? Derrick is coming off an injury and will be hard to handle in febuary

Spike- you obviously have no clue what kind of tradition and class Coach Morgan and Schack instill in their wrestlers year in and out. No program is without their blemishes but these two coaches are some of the tops in our state, and I believe they will have another great season this year. It has been well documented why Baylor wrestlers and coaches chose not to shake hands until the end of a match for a number of years: it means a lot more to both sides when the wrestler is not out of breath and shaking hands because he has to. look forward to a good season

I know Jordan is planning on attending Senior nationals and I believe he will be at 130. Should be a pretty big thirty pounder. Look forward to seeing many great things from Jordan in the future. Great year

When I got on this morning and saw the topic of this thread I knew that Baylor fans would probably recieve the most votes. I have noticed that few true Baylor supporters have responded to the cheap jabs taken at them because they know they are the best most loyal fans in Tennessee. Lets look at the facts, more people travel to support Baylor wrestling than any other school. You can argue this but anyone who seriously follows wrestling in Tennessee has seen the Red section in many gyms. Baylor fans may be loud at times but that is wrestling and they are the most knowlegeable fans you will see. Last, to say anything about the class and integrity of the coaches and wrestlers at Baylor is ridiculous. Coach Morgan and Shaack instill the utmost respect in their wrestlers and they are truly a class act. Sorry for the long post but I believe someone needed to defend the best fans in Tennessee wrestling.

it is kind of sad that gordon repeatedly won't give his kids who might not be studs the chance to improve. I might be wrong about this particular example, but i can assure you it has happened many times before. let em wrestle

Wild Cat- I have watched Jordan wrestle since his eighth grade year and have never seen him stall. He is always in incredibly good shape and takes it to his opponent for six minutes or until he pins. Cleveland is a tough wrestler but not quick enough to hang with Jordan. Leen wins his third straight title.
