  1. My guess is you nailed this one Somms. Whitt would not bump a teammate/senior out of the lineup for this.
  2. How bout this, do not assume that I answer for Dunning. And no weight is not an excuse for Dunnnig. I simply stated a truth. Manson is too powerful for him when Manson is at 25 and Dunning is at 19. Manson still has a lot to prove this next weekend. I think that he still trails Dunning by two state championships.
  3. Spike1, You do not know what you are talking about. Whitt takes Corey to overtime giving up weight and here you say that he would be beat again if he were 6 pounds heavier and hydrated. Whitt is wrestling at 119 this season because of senior nationals. No other reason. Put your best man on the mat..? Are you calling Whitt out? Give me a break. I love how you can call a guy out on a message board where you can hide your identity. You sure are one brave guy.
  4. He will not do it because of his character. If Whitt were your typical high school wrestler, he would bump up and knock one of his own teammates out of the lineup to go beat Manson. As is, he will probably not be doing this because of the senior who occupies the slot at 125. Is the Whitt tough enough? You do not know what you are talking about fool. I guarantee you that he is tougher than you, and I will take that to the bank.
  5. I want Mike Weldon of Karns riding shotgun. He hops out of the truck and it seems that he is going to apologize to the bikers. When they don't accept his apology, he hammers each one with a patented Weldon headbutt.
  6. So it took Dunning almost three periods to tech you. Do you want a medal? My guess is that you probably had on your track shoes. Dunning actually did tech Ortiz in their last meeting. I don't know what your post is trying to prove, but I am pretty sure that Dunning is the best 119 pounder in the state if not the best wrestler in the state of TN.
  7. attackall3per, How can you say that Dunning vs. Manson would be the best match. Last years state tournament final was a blowout. Whitt controlled Corey the entire match and there was no doubt from the first whistle. For any of you who think Dunning is the type of kid who would back down from Manson, you are crazy. Dunning brings the heat especially in the big matches.
  8. Oh yeah the Helias guy that Whitt Dunning put it to.
  9. Rampage is the man but he sure got his butt kicked by Silva. He needs to learn how to fight instead of just tryin to drop people.
  10. BOTW, Sorry to correct you but I feel it is a very important details in the Dunning Geismar match. Dunning hit a Mu Chang roll in the final 10 seconds of the match. Very different and much more effective than your typical middle school gator roll. And yes one of the better matches in HS that I have seen.
  11. Brian Dunning would have to be added to the list. He has coached a state champion at every school he has been, and has been a major factor in his sons' state championships.
  12. Clarksville has probably the best setup in the midstate. I have seen no problems with it being in Clarksville. MTSU would be another great place to hold it if there were people that would take the reigns like the Clarksville folks have and make it great.
  13. It doesnt matter if he was on his back. In order for backpoints to occur, he has to be fighting off of his back.
  14. Give me a break CB56. Dont you ever say what Frank Simpson should have or should not have done. It is not your place. He made a decision in the Notre Dame match that he must have thought was better for his team. You are lost. Also, it is real easy to get on here and to say that CBHS got skrewed, but any good wrestler knows that in a close match you have to make the breaks for yourself. You cant expect to win if you leave it in the officials hands.
