how do you pick which games u put on the contest? noticed the Riverdale vs Antioch not on this week..any reason or just can only put so many?? also this new format seems to take forever to enter picks...will this be the format throughout the season?? thanks

yes the paint job was great...hope they stay with it throughtout the season!!! i'm sure it was hard for whomever was doing the painting but it turned out terrific!!

(OK how could winning a game prove your point???) We dominated that game but we was only up 7-0 for most of the game one fumble or one big play broken and we had a tie ball game. To me the wing T is great for oakland due to their talent level and personnel but in my opinion with our line I agree with 82 cat we should line it up and get behind that line until their tounge falls off. (if you had read all of the post the line that ever1 talked to highly about is what messed up friday night so why put it all on their shoulders) So please tell me why you think it is good and how it is going to win state for us this year. I PROMISE I REALLY WANT TO BE WRONG !!! thank you in advance for your opinion" Can you not for one moment be happy with a win & be glad that a coach is teaching more than how to win at any cost??? Coach A is teaching this group how to win but also how to pull together through alot of difficult times. Were you aware that Brian Hoffman was at the game??? Distractions come in all sizes whether is be the other team or something you create. Coach A is teaching these guys to overcome these distractions @ that there are a lot of important things in life including football but when you have over 100 on the team you have to admit it that the majority of them will not be going pro so the life lessons Coach A is teaching is so much more than can be put into words. You & I both know that alot of the players read these postings & they need all of the support from everyone whether you agree with the way they win or not. They Did WIN!!! Support the coaches & the players for the winning effort!!! GO WARRIORS!!!

OK..i'm watching channel 27 CSS & its showing Prattville & NGW??? & coachT does not have a score showing so what is going on w/ the smyrna game?

heck i cld not understand who the announcer was saying bc the speakers seemed to be turned down or something...maybe just bc so many people???? it wld have been nice to hear the names of the players from either team as they made a good play. nice playing oakland but i must say i'm glad the warriors pulled this one out.. can't believe we have waited for how many days..months...for rain & it comes last night. it took alot of focus for those guys to continue playing when the downpour came. wtg to both teams & coaches!! looks like Coach "A" is really onto something since so many other teams are going to try the wingT this year. wtg CoachA you started a trend

Was nice 2 see Keiffer & Brian Hoffman at last nights game.. know it had to bring some emotions to some players as i'm sure some had not seen Brian since the wreck which took place b4 school started. WTG Brian.. welcome home!!! nice to see you making so much progress......

Oakland played really well to just be learing the wingt...they realized they cld not run so they went 2 the pass but even though they never scored they still showed alot of potential & I know it was alot closer than many expected. As for Riverdale...well thank goodness for a great d-fense...the O-line that has been so talked up diffently did not live up 2 all of the talk. Something was just not clicking btween them & the QB & the RB as they were making holes but it seems like it was not where the holes were supposed 2 be so the runner wld get shut down. The passing interception will happen ... it was the 1st game so every1 just get over it but he turned right around & made an outstanding pass for the final TD so thats the way to do it. u pound em hard inside (of course hoping 4 better results) but anyways then u surprise w/ the long through. Seems like we are doing better w/ the kicking this year as well.. Nice play.... Congrats RIVERDALE!!! good way to start off the year with a district win!!!

well as my name implies lastone2know....glad you posted about the time change game time now 8:00...at least it is still on 4 tonight!!! these guys are so ready 2 play it wld be a shame 4 it to be postponed.. You have got 2 know the coaches will be watching the hydration of all of the players...good luck to both!! safety for all!!! But lets play some ball!! (hope the refs are prepared)

Well...the time is drawing nearer....I'm confident Coach "A" & the staff he has by his side have prepared this great group for this year.. Lets hope these warriors pull together to pull it out.. Good Luck Riverdale!!

OK riverdaleman we get u have a problem with the wing t that coach a runs but can you not support the program a little bit more..come on.. the 2 losses they had were pretty crazy.. 1 was a scrimmage the other was the smyrna game that yes smyrna won but there have been some questions tied to it. why keep bringing up last year when this year is starting. lets focus on the postitives.... you had a first year coach that came in and ran a top notch program.. gave a lot of guys a lot of opportunities they would not have gotten from other coaches. sit back & try to enjoy and support the program whether or not you like it & prove you really are a warrior backer as we all want you to be, but quit bringing up last year & lets focus on the good & focus on this year!!

davidlimbaugh all there is 2 say is & THANKS!!! You are doing a great job..pics are terrific!!! & appreciate it being up to date. know it has taken alot of your time but you have 2 know the team & supporters appreciates all you have done.

magoo...u are right Riverdale wld love to have an indoor facility.. but when i stated that i was wondering where everyone was & why no one was talking I did not just reference it to Oakland sorry if it came across that way but thought we would have heard more from both sides by now. thanks for answering my question as to whether the facility was complete or not, i'm sure everyone from oakland was hoping it wld have been done by now. i'm sure Oakland has prepared better this year than b4 & being that they are playing right off the bat gives them an advantage as Riverdale usually plays very very sloppy their 1st game & if Oakland is on top of their game this might be the one that everyone talks about after the game... you never know... I also stated that bc of the school bd ban the conditioning has placed trbls on both teams especially if you have players that play both sides. i think this will be better than u are giving your team credit 4 (if oakland is your team)... but good luck Riverdale!!!

Totally agree riverdaleman...where oh where have they all gone?? u think they have been told 2 keep quiet?? or maybe they are just 2 tired (they team guys that is) buy they time they get home from practice to do any talking on here. what ever the reason it sure is strange that it is so that it is so quiet... So is Oaklands facility completed?? are they able to use it?? man how nice to have an indoor facility during these hot temps but then do you play indoors in nice pleasant temps.. a no.. so practice in air but play in 100 degree really great preparation..I think both teams are going to have guys having trbls w/ones that play both sides on Friday if these temps keep up since the practices have had to be cut short.

where are all of the riverdale faithfuls from last year??? sure have been quiet... ...come out come out where ever you are & get fired up... its football time in rutheford county come on people get into it!!

how are the short but hot practices going?? everyone getting pumped up?? ready for oakland...imagine the school is crazy this week just starting but having to try & keep focused even though & big game the 1st week.. Deandre did play in the MBA scrimmage & he was really good so hope he will be ready 4 the game Friday. Its great that Keiffer has been able 2 be w/ the team (for both them & him) Hope the SR's have got their act together to keep everyone focused as this is such a big game. what a way to start out the season ....

No more scrimmages....good idea Coach "A"..be sure no injuries so every1 is ready for the Oakland game. smart very very smart!!!
