I know the truth was to get a good coach and Coach Holt is just that. I know a good player and Dylan Smith has been a very good player and definately this team MVP so far. I said he was a sleeper candidate for this district. Caruthers is obviously the front runner as of now. I am just saying watch out for Dylan Smith. Anyone that watched SC last year will say he is a good player and he has only gotten better.

What's your problem? Yes I have seen SC quite a lot this summer and they have had very good games and then some very bad ones. The games they played at MC where they played teams they play during the year the looked very good except against CA and at points HC. Yes, I do believe Dylan Smith can get MVP. He has played outstanding and I believe could average a double-double. This team has 8 seniors and 2 very good sophomores. Why do you have such a grudge against Taylor Craig? He has earned his playing time. To be honest I think he should start over some of the players because he actually works on his game during practice. He has taken advantage of his playing time. He is 6'2 athletic forward who can handle the ball and rebound well. Oh and trust I know plenty about ball and I'm sure if your from SC you know me and you know as well I know more about sports than pretty much every student at our high school. I have been around sports since I was born and been in a coaching family and around plenty of teams and coaches. If you ask them they will say them so next time you come and run your mouth think before you say something about someone else or a player that has worked his butt off and no this is not Taylor Craig I can gurantee you that one. Sorry for the rest of you guys but what was said about reclassification? If it does happen it wouldnt come into effect until next year right? Otherwise schedules would be very messed up.

Well Dansby wasn't playing with them at the Mont. Central Camp. After watching Cheatham their is not one guy I remember for them. They looked comepletly new. SC did a very poor job in their first two games against Houston Co. and Clarksville Academy but in the last game againt MC they played very well and Boone Smith lit it up, having 15 points in one half. The 2nd half the JV played and SC looked good with 6 sophomores and 1 freshmen.

The reason I put SC in front is I have seen how SC has gotten better and I had no clue what Creekwood had. I knew they had Walton and Palmore, both who can shoot. I have no clue how everything will go but if SC keeps improving at their pace they could do very well. Caleb Rozet has came around as our big guy. He is #80 in football and plays WR. SC has some good atheletes this year. A couple of them have experience too. It all depends on how they execute the offense. You better watch out though a sleeper candidate for MVP is Dylan Smith. Write it down.

I agree with HHSnumber1fan. How do you say no one gave any respect to Creekwood. I had them beating Sycamore and Harpeth at home. Creekwood will always be competitive because they have a good coach. The only one I know that are coming back are Palmore and Walton. They also have that really tall black kid who should be a junior I believe but I am not sure. If he gets better they will definately improve.

I know that there is still some time until the season starts but I was just wondering how all the teams are doing so far. I know Stewart Co. and Sycamore have new coaches and I think Cheatham needs a new coach if they havn't got one yet. What does everybody have returning? The only team I am real unsure of is Creekwood. I know they had a lot of seniors. Here are my projections. 1. Harpeth-Trey Caruthers will lead them. I can also see their young guards stepping up also. 2. Sycamore-Having a new coach could hurt them early even though it hasnt hurt them that much before. Who do they have returnng? 3. Waverly- Vogel and company could be the team to watch for. They are still somewhat young and have very good guard play. 4.Stewart Co.- The reason I put SC here is because I do not know how Creekwood will be. SC has the Smith twins returning along with 4 other who have had experience on varsity. I believe that teams will need to watch out for Taylor Craig as he could possibly be a big contributor for SC in the paint. 5. Creekwood-I did not give them the benefit of doubt but they could be anywhere on here I just do not know what they have coming back. 6-8 I do not know much about any of the other three except I am sure MC lost Greene. Did Fairview lose Bledsoe? I know Cheatham has Dontario Dansby but do they have anyone else? If anyone knows anything let the rest of us here know. Let's play ball. I cant wait. Once football starts it will fly by.

Coach Chuck Holt has been hired to take over for the Stewart County Rebels. Coach Holt has been coaching at Clarksville Academy and has helped with AAU. This seems to be a good hire for SC and a much better hire than last year. I can see Coach Holt getting SC over the hump and possibly regionals. Good Luck Coach and Go Rebels!

Yes, we always get the bad ones for some reason. Like the lady ref we had at mcewen gave us 3 techs there and has given us 1 at CC and a cpl at home. But yes we have the same just there always bad for us.

4 technicals also in this game. 1 from Coach Craig and one from Earhart. For Waverly Vogel and Jackson got one (# 1 and 30)

Waverly shot 10-23 from 3point and most the misses in the 1st. Simply could not miss in the 2nd half. SC was 0-16 from 3 point and made only 3 fts i belive out of 12 maybe?? SC got outplayed and was up by 7 at half and should've been more if they couldve made a shot. Waverly came out and scored 20 in the 3rd and 26 in the 4th after scoring 12 all the 1st half. Nobody for SC played good. Congrats to all the Seniors on Senior Night. Yall played hard all year. SC work hard and try again next year. Good luck to Waverly.

SC vs Wavo is cancelled tonight and will be made up tomorrow night.

SC won by 10+ at MC. Taylor had 20 with a nice dunk in the 1st and D. Smith had 15 pts n 15 rbs. Great game maybe this will clinch the 4 if Waverly loses to Creekwood.

SC @ MC is still on as of now MC is in school. SC is not.

Well papatiger SC didnt played good either they had about 25 turnovers and couldnt make their free-throws at te end to seal the victory. I also disagreed with the two moving screens. How many times do you see that called in a year?? The bad thing about it Boone Smith made both of the threes. Good game and SC go steal one friday home vs. Harpeth.

USPatriot I was also right there and Pierre clearly said dmn did not want to spell it but he clearly said it as he was frustrated but I do not know why they didnt and if they wouldve gave him a T, which I think he deserved, he wouldve had 2 fouls in the first 4 minutes. Pierre made tough shots all night. SC would play good D and he would just make a tough shot and Nicholson killed SC from the 3. SC has Clarksbug tonight and MC tomorrow for homecoming.

SC went out and executed the game plan. Sycamore missed Guye shooting from the 3 point line as SC let Froedden shoot. The big momentum shift was when Taylor got his fourth. Coach Froedden even told SC players and coaches they deserved it more. He showed some class by taking out Pierre out when he used vulgar language and I give him great respect for him. Also Pierre got in foul trouble as SC drew some nice over the back calls and ect. SC just couldnt come away with it

Yes, Sycamore had all starters their and all played but both teams had tremendous foul trouble. With 6 minutes in the 4th 5 players had fouled out Kazmar , Jackson, and Crain for SC their main two ballhandlers and were up by 7 at one point with those three out in the 4th. SC handled the ball well and shot great from the FT line.

SC did not shoot 50% from the field at all. They missed a lot of open shots around the basket and a couple of wide-open threes. I believe they shot about 38% or so.

I did not say they would beat Harpeth I just said that SC could upset someone. Harpeth wont shoot 50% every game esp. in SC gym. You know that. I just think SC can pull off an upset bc they havnt played their first complete game

Well Sc played Harpeth pretty tough last nite. It does not show it on the scoreboard but SC was down 7 with 10 seconds in the 2nd and had the ball then a dunk by giltner which I'm not sure but could have been a tech for hanging didn't see if a guy was under him but he clearly hung and then a steal and layup within 5 seconds. Harpeth shot the lights out also shooting over 50% the whole game. Im sure that if Harpeth had a choice they wouldn't want to play SC in the 1st round but I don't think they will have to worry. This SC team can hang with Harepth and CW and has already beat Fairview. This team will make a push in the tourny and no one will want to play them. You have to remember SC has played the harder teams first in CW twice Sycamore and Harpeth on the road. I don't know but I am seeing SC taking one from one of them two at home. Harpeth clearly overlooked SC and since they won by 25 they probably will again. Oh btw thanks for letting us work against your starting press down 23 with 5 minutes to go. I am guessing you were really worried about us.

Well last night SC had Sycamore beat. They were down 3 in the first then after taking the lead kept it all the way until 5 minutes in the 4th. Then SC inexperience and youth showed up. This team has only 1 Sr. and 1 Jr. that plays and play 3 sophomores and 5 freshmen. I know Sycamore starts 2 freshmen twins and they can shoot but Sycamore IMO isn't that good there isn't much of a post game and they just like to give pressure and run the floor. Also after Sycamore got big momentum after hitting a three to go up five they called a timeout and killed their momentum. Also Sycamore was still shooting with 2 minutes up 5. SC had so many chances. I am not taking anything from Sycamore they have my respect but SC beat themselves.

ballbasher30 you have to remember SC just had their old coach resign and have had all of 2 practices with their new coach with 2 walkthroughs so I mean come on man by the end of the year this SC team will be very tough. This SC team has been through a lot together and if we play again and if I was a betting man I would go with SC and I am sure there would be others not from SC to say the same thing. You said some scored on free throws and putbacks but isnt that part of the game?? Box out better and don't foul otherwise people will score like that. Also SC is still trying to get better conditioning wise and learn the offense and defense because not everyone played last year at SC. If Coach Craig pulls out a regional appearance there is no reason he shouldn't get Coach of the Year!
