HENRY CO. IS FOCUSED THIS YEAR, AND THEY SHOULD BE AFTER LOSING IN THE SEMIFINALS LAST YEAR TO HILLSBORO. WE WILL TAKE IT ONE GAME AT A TIME, NO MATTER WHO OUR OPPONENT IS. YOU CAN'T JUDGE A TEAM BY IT'S RECORD, SO I KNOW THE BIG RED WILL BE FOCUSED WHEN RALEIGH EGYPT COMES TO TOWN. I'VE BEEN TO EVERY GAME THIS YEAR EXCEPT THE LAST ONE; I CAN HONESTLY SAY THE GAME BETWEEN MARTIN,SOME PLAYERS UNDERESTIMATED THEM. THE OTHER GAME I WANT TO COMMENT ON IS THE NORTHSIDE GAME; IN WHICH THE TWO HOUR DELAY HURT OUR TEAM. WE LOOKED SLUGGISH IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE GAME, WITH THAT BEING SAID WE FOUND A WAY TO WIN. WHAT IT BOILS DOWN TO IS THE 2-8 RECORD RALEIGH EGYPT HAS MEANS NOTHING IN THE PLAYOFFS, BECAUSE IT'S A NEW SEASON NOW. I don't understand some of the things you're saying, because we have been underdogs in the last 2 games. Memphis East thought they were going to beat us too with all the bragging they were doing. I know Hillsboro record is 13-0, but if you look all through the playoffs undefeated teams have fallen to #4 seeds. You can throw the records out the window and just play football. We love being the underdogs but when it's all said and done we'll be ready for the Friday night lights. So let all the hype end and strap up the helmets.

I don't think the players were practicing at 1 a.m. , but the coaches started preparing their game plan for Fairley
