I wondered what kind of injury the Nelms girl had. The team rallied to win and she would have certainly contributed. Good job playing with the cards you have Bulldogs! Hope Nelms is able to heal in time to play Monday night. Hope the Howell girll who suffered a concussion from a collision with another MC player is up for the game too. Monday night's game will be better to watch if everyone is well and playing 100%. Well wishes to both.

Culleoka show some fight? Moore Co. seemed to take over early. Did CA not show up until halftime? Moore County Substituted early after half. CA was frustrated in the first half and calmed down a little in the second half but resorted to their frustrations again by the end of the third.

11A's dates were wrong on the brackets this morning. Thursday is the 19th and the championship is scheduled for Monday the 23rd Also the Moore Co/Columbia Academy game is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.

Just a note. I saw a bracket one of the coaches had today and the CA/ Moore County game had 6:00 written on the bracket. So it is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.

If the girls games are on Monday the 23rd, when are the boys games?

Congrats to Cornersville! You did a good job late in the game hitting the game winning shots. The game was great to watch! Both teams played hard the entire game and showed top notch defense. It was never anyone's game until the final buzzer. Hope to see you again at the district finals.

I don't believe Cornersville will be on top this time. Moore County by 10 for the regular season. All MC players are injury free and over mono, unlike last game where our first three subs were all out with sickness or injury and one of our stating post players had been sick with a stomach virus during the day. Our first sub for the last game was our 8th grade players. Though they are good players, they lack experience. Please say a prayer for the Moore County girls basketball team tonight. Moore County Schools lost one of the students favorite teachers to a strep infection in her lungs that began about a week ago. She was only thirty-two...two young children. She was the first basketball coach several of the girls had in junior pro. Her first cousin is a senior on the team. The girls want to play, but it will be an emotional battle for them. Thanks for your help in lifting them up.

Wow! Didn't see this one turning out so close. The Viqueens must have had their act together tonight. I saw them against Santa Fe and didn't think they would give Forrest a lot of trouble. Congratulations Rockets! A win is a win. Viqueens, keep up the hard work. Seems like it is paying off.

No real surprises I suppose. Moore County over Richland not a barn burner and not a run away game either. Winning by 13 is a good win and they were never behind. They played a good ballgame. Heard Cornersville scraped by Huntland. I was surprised when I looked at the 5 point win. Whew! Does anyone know if they were just shooting cold or in foul trouble or just more evenly matched than expected? I was surprised that Santa Fe and CA was not closer. Final score for the game was Richland 40, Moore County 53.

Can't leave out the Garland girl from Moore County. She is quick defensively, agressive and is a play maker.

Moore Co. won over Cumberland County in overtime, but had led pretty much the whole game. Moore Co. won against Morristown West by one point. Moore Co. lost to Livingston by >15 maybe >20. They had tremendous defense. MC's eight players were about tuckered out by the last game. /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blush:" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> If you don't look at the final game of the day, MC looked much better than the previous week. Strong pressure defense and better shooting than the week before. Look for good things from MC this year!

You could buy an ad in the newspaper and have it printed. That way they have to print it as long as it isn't obscene...and it isn't. It is informative and probably worth the cost of pring OOPS! Cost of print.

If anyone has a schedule for Shelbyville scrimmage day next weekend, I would like to have it.

I thought I saw an updated schedule the other day. Is their a newer schedule out there to post?
