  1. The only reason spring hill did have a 3 and 11 stop was because Alcoa had their second o-line in. From what I saw Spring Hill's defense didn't play well, unless Alcoa averaging 7 yards a carry counts as a good job. Also forgetting Alcoa was without starting Tailback, Troy Hodge and Starting Receiver, Brian Sommer. Two of Alcoa's most powerful weapons.
  2. I'm guessing because of the thunderstorm. I know that the scrimmage where Morristown West, Farragut, Alcoa, and South Doyle was at started but had to be stopped because of lightning.
  3. What Sophomores do you think will leave the most impact this season in 2A? Personally, I think Tyler Robinson from Alcoa could be huge in the post season. I also here Alcoa has a few Sophomore OL that have squats into the 400's.
  4. Okay first off I'm in a computer class. With or without you believing me it doesn't change what I've been told. I know this happened because during practice afterwards Randall stood up and told us. Today I asked Shiverdecker who it was and he told me the defensive tackle. If you don't want to believe me fine.
  5. I go to Alcoa and I am on the team. I know for a fact they did that, and recently today at school I was told it was the defensive tackle that was up for an award. This was told to me by Shiverdecker today.
  6. Well my sources are from Alcoa's Quarterback Randall Cobb and wide reciever Kyrus Lanxter. As for who the Goodpasture players were I'm not sure. I have no idea what any of the GP players look like and wouldn't be able to tell you who any of them were if you started to show me faces.
  7. Well I would like to breakdown what I think of the game this week. I believe Alcoa will win. Not because of the speed or depth or anything else that has been stated, but because of karma. At media day some of the Goodpasture's players went up to the Alcoa players and offered to shake their hand. Right before they were about to shake, the Goodpasture player took his hand back and said, "You ain't got a chance." Earlier I saw in a post where it said that Alcoa doesn't respect Goodpasture. I don't know how anyone else was raised, but that right there shows some of the biggest disrespect someone can show. As for the actual game. I think Shiverdecker will have the game of his life with at least 250 yards rushing and a couple od TD's. Alcoa's speed on the contain is too much for the jet play, and the defense will be able to stop the sally play. All in all I think alcoa wins, but it will stay close through the first half. Alcoa - 35 GP - 18
