  1. I thought it was bad after post number 9. Now I am really glad for mercy rule
  2. 9 post so far on this thread and not a one that understands or appreciates the mercy rule. That is why you have a mercy rule.
  3. Same here mwtfan. Great run Lady Trojans. Proud of you girls. ODE to VCR We gave Kandice respect, We gave her - her dues. But VCR is an igit, He hasn't a clue. Good luck Lady bobcats, Good luck Kandice too, Good luck VCR, On to MTSU. VCR doesn't know softball, VCR doesn't know fun, VCR doesn't know math, But he knows Radar gun. (not). I crack myself up. VCR -- thanks for all of the laughs. Come back and the visit the IMAC next season. Your entertainment is priceless.
  4. Good luck Lady Trojans. mwtfan -- bring your own State Trooper tonight. With any luck you can arrest her for speeding. Find a way to score! Steaks medium well today --- what a beautiful day to play.
  5. Dyer -- enjoyed watching you the last few years. You are a warrior. Many seniors leaving the IMAC this year that have played since Freshman year. Going to miss those young ladies, but looks like most are optomistic about their younger classes. Chiefs have the big target on their back for next year -- but they got the talent and moxy to back it up. Another great year around the corner!
  6. Lance knew you would do it Lady Trojans, but even the great Lance had no idea that Cheifs would find defeat.
  7. Having trouble to post this weekend and today. IMAC thread must be full up.
  8. Double AMEN to that. However guys -- here is some food for thought. I got pulled over for doing 70 in a 55. I asked him if he had clocked any pitchers with his radar gun and he said, by chance he had, --- he clocked a girl at Central a week ago doing 70. I got him right where I want him.
  9. Been on the road Statman, but glad someone still cares. Some call it luck, some call it greatness – I call it destiny (since Lance knows all). Who else could have predicted the Trojan toe-stubbing this week other than Lance the magnificent. Trojans -- one out away from elimination -- battle back for the all-important Region birth. No Trojan has been this high since mwtfan in the 1972 smoke fest hosted by Daily’s Lounge in Morristown. Sky high Trojans have certainly regrouped and are poised to bounce back in a big way – only thing missing is pitching. Chiefs have them blanketed tonight with two horses available and in full gate. I heard Pokey looked tired last night and 8 innings in 90 plus degree heat and pitching for the third day in a row will begin to take their toll. I expect Sents to try and find away saving Pokey as long as possible. Don’t look for the Trojans to fold easily though. Great senior leadership – solid defense - good hitting - finding a way to win to overcome – a pitcher that last like the energizer bunny -- Trojans will be hitting on all cylinders tonight. Why not go through the motions – you made it to Region anyway. Two reasons West wins tonight. THEY WANT TO HOST! THE TEMPERATURE WILL BE UNDER A 100! If Chiefs don’t win the first one – they certainly won’t win the second win. Lance’s loser: in a double header – CHEROKEE.
  10. Don't bank on it Lady Pats -- Lance knows everything (lol). I heard it was a good game tonight. Congrats to Lady Trojans and Chiefs. Fly that IMAC flag.
  11. Hate missing all the fun. Working in sunny Georgia this week. Little stub of the toe -- West will go as Pokey goes tonight. Maybe a little tired, but she is used to it and has been down this road before.
  12. I imagine that comes out with all-conference --- Does anyone know when those will be published. I agree mwtfan. Heck - she wins the conference for the second year and goes undfeated this year (4 games better than next finisher). I guess that is a no-brainer but I wouldn't bet on it. Seen too many rooks too many times. I say she gets hosed.
  13. That's why you never bet with your heart. Set up the grill mwtfan -- I'll be eating crow. Okay -- not really -- I was pretty close. How could I possibly know that umpire in the field would come up with critical bogus interference call (the laugher of the year). How about my error prediction, but who could have imagined the number these two turned out last night (had to be close to 20). That won't get it done vs the Trojans. West has looked better, but I still thought they were on cruise control -- even when 2 to 2. Not over yet. Then again maybe it is, but maybe Lance doesn't know all -- but at 99% -- he knows quite a bit. Statman -- lady chief contemplating retirement -- she is smarter than us all -- that's always good for a few coach of the year votes. If she wins it over Sents, then her strategy will be revealed. jcfan -- thanks for the mythology lesson -- I think
  14. A tough pick tonight -- but no more difficult than my excellent weather prediction of last friday (I'm awesome baby). I will put my 100% accuracy on the line with the following prognostication. Trojans - Pats Pats poised to make some more noise as they host the District tournament after a convincing win over the Lady Devils last friday, but certainly find a tall task in taking on the top seeded Trojans from Morristown West. West has proven itself as the league best; however, Coach Heather Sents and her senior laden Trojans haven’t mustered enough league respect. No Trojan horse surprise here – Trojans drop the hammer of justice – Lance’s loser: Patriots Chiefs - Canes My old my -- here they are again. These two teams certainly have the recipe to defeat the other. Close is how this one usually is and close is how this one will be tonight. Two meets two, but this time we are not flipping a coin. The Chiefs have looked uninspired as of late, but it’s District and their head coach has announced her retirement (again). This will come down to who makes the critical mistake – and while both are capable of blowing the close one -- East offers more opportunities to do it. Chiefs are better -- stronger -- faster. Everything points towards a Chief's victory tonight, but my heart (and a few tea leaves) tells me that Canes find a way. Lance's loser: Cherokee
  15. A good forecast is like a fine wine -- not to let out before it's time. I shall not prognosticate prior to Monday morning. HOWEVER -- It is West and Cherokee that are the teams to beat. West is best -- no doubt about it, but Canes will need A game to beat Chiefs. I know what you are thinking -- they lost four straight -- East is hot moving from last to first -- but I feel the Chiefs got a little tired. I have no doubt that they will bring their best game on Monday which means East will have to be at the top of theirs. West is chomping at the bit and many fine Senior leaders -- not likely to wilt, but could stub their toe somewhere along the way. I saw mwtfan today hooking the grill up to the back of his car. Party is eminent!!
  16. Lance -- you were right again. Winners - coin toss - but even the weather. You hit the weather against all odds. YOU ARE THE MAN LANCE!!! Why thank you Lance. I AM THE MAN! Piece of cake. Just wait until Monday.
  17. Okay jc#1fan - I will ponder. Maybe bring in mwtfan too (our show will be outdoors and mwtfan can be barbecuing giving a little our show a little tailgate panache). Has the makings. If things get too slow on this thread -- all we have to do is to mention Kandice's 52 mph fastball - I crack myself up.
  18. mwtfan -- if I hit this weather prediction too, then I expect my own television show. Sports and Weather by the amazing Lance. Maybe I can count on you for sponsorship money. jcfan -- one more thing -- I only predict one game at a time -- leave them wanting more. But yes, Lance already know everything.
  19. JCfan -- here is my attempt to be more entertaining than you: DEVILS - PATS Lady Devlis will be “fired” up as they head deep into Dumpling Valley to present the District Host Pats with an upset pitchfork. Head coach Cindy Kelly makes her last tournament run coming in off a fresh final home conference victory over Cocke County and knowing that they split with Jeff during the regular season. The Devils will certainly bring their A game to battle a Patriot team that is up down more than popcorn in a microwave oven and appear ripe for the forking; however, you have to score to win – Lance’s loser: Greeneville. CANES – ROOSTERS Lady hurricanes blow in from the East ready to pound the Patriot coast. The Hurricane storm is raging with three starters finally healed and back in the lineup as indicated by late season flurry to finish in a tie for second. The Hurricane faithful chant “Eat more Chiefs”, but they had better not overlook the chicken. Lance’s loser: Cocke County
  20. All is quiet today. THE CALM BEFORE THE STORM. You get it --- thunder storms coming --- tournament starting. It's punny!!!! But alas, I can only entertain myself.
  21. TNfan -- soooooooo disappointed -- if you read a couple of days ago -- East will have to play in meaning finishing third. Guess what -- Lance is as good predicting coin tosses as he is wins and losses. Still perfect, but then that goes without saying. Can't wait to see how I did on my weather forecast. BE SCARED IMAC'ers : Beware of the Lady Canes!
  22. Pokey got er done, but better to thank the defense that is behind her. It is as solid as I have seen in a long time. Speed at every spot - fantastic catcher, shortstop unlike any I have ever seen, outfield that could probably qualify for state in track, quality infielders, a bench that could possibly finish second or third, two double digit home run hitters -- wow. Problem is -- many of these are back. Heck -- i'll take a game ball signed by the bench. To beat it all -- a great group of young ladies. But -- beware of the Lady Canes! Lance knows all!!
  23. All work and no play -- mwtfan. But for a little entertainment, Lance is the best thing going.
  24. mwtfan -- I was told that you had left us -- but Lance knew better. As for rain on Friday: 1. I found a a family of cockroachs at work this morning lying on their back unable to flip back over. 2. My dog has been running circles around his bowl the last two days (a clear indication of rain). 3. April showers bring May rain. 4. A family of indians live next door to me and they were out dancing around a fire last night. Yes it will rain; however, first round games will play as scheduled because first round upsets are hoped for and what better way to create parity than mush. Lance says -- let's play two.
  25. East won 10-0. Coin flip at noon.
