I was just messing around saying those players were around when i watched alot of the District teams play... But from what ive heard PF has Adam Guinn who signed with Walter State, Mark Isaacs and Brandon Wilson- Roane State? Gp has Lucas Watson who i believe signed with Carson-Newman... Is there anymore big time players in the district?

I was watching this game and Price really impressed me. I never heard how hard he threw but he did step up in the big game. I would think college coaches would be impressed with his clutch performance.

Looks like to be a great tournament. My hometown tigers definitely will have their hands full with Bearden, Oakland, and Baylor. Cannot wait to see these teams play!

hows the district going to play out this year? unfortunately ive lost touch with my baseball resources in the Pf area... Just wondering if PF is still the favorite or if someone else has jumped to the top.

The hometown Pigeon Forge Tigers have looked pretty decent so far in their preseasonm scrimmages. They might not have the raw talent to play with teams like Lexington or USJ but Coach Guinn from Anderson County has brought the discipline they lacked last season. They have a centimental scrimmage comiing up this Saturday with Coach Cannon coming back to town to play. We will see how the season goes but do not count out East Tennessee teams this year.

So we have USJ in the west, Goodpasute or Lipscomb(always tough) in the middle but does East Tennessee have any contenders this year?

The Tigers won their scrimmage Monday 8-3 over William Blount. How did the other district teams do?

What are the predictions as the season is starting up? Break it down by region.

Heard the tigers won 5-3 but dont know if the starters played for either team. Does anyone have any info. on this scrimmage

Im hearing a lot of hype around town about this Tiger team so we will see how they fair against WB.

After seeing both of these teams play i believe with Kyle K. or Church on the mound that Seymour will utterly and totally destroy Rutledge.

If he hits his spots and mixes the speeds up like he did and his team continues to play like this they will contend with anyone and everyone left in there way to the 'boro.

All this talk of protests and forfeits brings a somber tone to the end of Pigeon Forges run at THE BORO again... lets let them be like all year long and see what these boys accomplish knowing that their coach is leaving because he went 0-10 in football and has no support from the community it seems.. a bad situation has made these boys draw closer together and play as a team... This is a down point to their awesome performance on Thursday that was capped by a forfeit because of their coach not knowing the rule... but good luck tigers and make your community proud.

Though not a reliable source i heard through the rumour mill that he only threw 110 pitches.... 11 innings and 110 pitches earned him the District tournament mvp....along with Rutledge only scoring 2 runs in eleven innings.

Pigeon Forge ended up winning three games today to win the district 2-aa tournament... they beat union county 13-3, beat rutledge 15-2, and beat rutledge again 5-0. The tigers will make their third straight trip to regions... congratulatins tigers.... and good luck

What has happened to a team that i thought had a chance to win it all? With all their seniors and big sticks they just are not playing up to their potential.

Justin Carter a transfer freshmen from Atlanta... it was a battle of the freshmen but a strong point was the tigers bats woke up a little bit.
