Thank-you Seniors, for all the hard work and time, you guys have put forth your entire career !!! Good-luck to all the rising Pioneers for next year's team, and remember players are made during the off-season not during the season. HEY "old friend " i THINK YOU ARE RIGHT !! Cookeville is a dangerous team, but they haven't faced a team like Riverdale and the intensity they will bring to the game. The "SWAMI" sees riverdale winning this game by 13 !!!!

I can't judge this version of Pioneers, all i know is, we really don't have a lot of overall team speed, so if Cumberland County is fast, we will probably lose.

The only reason Northcutt has not received a D-1 scholarship, is because of his size or lack thereof, but make no mistake, he is truly a football player and is greatly admired by former players,current players, coaches and fans of the PIONEER NATION. I don't know how he takes all the punishment, he takes, and keeps coming back for more. You might have played the game of football, but it is obvious, you don't understand the game. What happen ??? Did he steal your girlfriend or something ??????????

Tullahoma may win this game, but it will be WWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY Closer than 42-10. Without Burks and some nagging injuries to some of Tullahoma's other players, this game is shapping up to be a barn-burnner. With thrower back at QB , comfidence is high and playing in front of a packed rowdy home-crowd will surely help. I still see tullahoma winning, but more like 28-20.

Great game !!! Made it harder than it had to be with two monster turnovers in the 4th quarter with the ball and a two touchdown lead, but hey, we still pulled it out. Great performances from Thrower and Northcutt (230) yards rushing and five touchdowns !!! The offense gives us hope now,but, the defense needs work. Congrats to all Coaches,players,and fans of the PIONEER NATION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Post !!1 One of the few I have read on here, I can't help but like Coach Johnson, he has proven me wrong, yet again, by inserting Thrower into the QB position, I quess he hasn't given up on this year yet !!! I love the fact, that Coach Johnson is willing to try something new, when things didn't go as planned, and I feel confident, this week that, we will ,indeed get a huge road victory. Unlike you, I DO NOT, like the direction the offense is going. It's clear, to me, that winning, THIS YEAR, is of no great importance, and we are sacrificing some of our seniors, who have stuck it out their entire high school career. Our best chance of moving the football,and keeping our defense off the field, is to put our best playmakers in the backfield, and that means Thrower at QB !!!! The option of Thrower being able to escape pressure and run the football, when things break down in the passing game, is not to be under-estimated. Let playmakers make plays, and that means Thrower, Northcutt and Martin. And for the moran who said Thrower was a better player in the 8th grade than he is now as a senior ?????? C'Mon MAN !!! Are you serious !!!! The only chance this team will resemble a high school football team is to put the load on our senior group ( who knows how to win football games) and give our defense a fighting chance, otherwise , if we stay with the status quo, Franklin Co. will beat us by 30 points.

We better find some linemen who want to block somebody, if we are to have any consistent passing game. I think the defense saved our butt against DeKalb Co.

If waren County is to have a successful season this year, they BETTER play people BOTH WAYS !!!! Riverdale did it when they were on top and we are no where they wereAS A TEAM. gOOD LUCK pIONEERS !!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't be too hard om the "young Joey Haston" just yet !! he is a fine outstanding , young man, who deserves a shot and support of the Warren County community. I am sure he has learned alot about the game of baseball from his College experience and I believe he will do just fine. kudos, to james Clark on his article about Bryan Morris in Sunday's edition, Bryan is an outstanding young man, and I have no doubt, that he will represent himself, once he reaches the Majors in a way, that all who knew him , when he was here in warren county will be proud of him. Congrats to the morris family, and especially Ricky, who always dreamed of one of his boys making to the majors. Let's get behind Joey Haston and the Pioneer baseball program !!

One has to look no further than Manchester, and hire Josh Morris,former Warren County standout, to lead us back into prominence. The Morris family name speaks for itself , as to the vast knowledge of the game and Josh has such a good disposition to the players he coaches. My only question, I know Josh has a degree from UT , but does he have a teaching certificate ?? Somebody please enlighten the "SWAMI" on this question !!!

Congrats to Coffee County representing our district in grand style !!!! On a side note, I hope warren County is smart enough to steal assistant Coach Josh Morris (former Warren County standout ) away from you guys !!! We are looking for a head baseball coach for next year, and I think Josh would be the perfect fit. Good luck next week in the "Boro" !!!! i will be rooting for you guys !!!!

Nitro !!! Don't tell me, they have added Dwone Hicks as running backs coach ????? If that is who you are talking about, I truly believe, that, Dwone Hicks was the best running back in MTSU history !!! if anyone knows Mr Hicks first name , please respond.

WOW !!! WOW !!! NITRO !!!! , That is already an impressive staff, If I were a young man again, I would have loved to play for this staff. If you love football, there is, NO REASON !! , why, you shouldn't be a part of this team.

i agree, Mark Harvey, has a very nice swing, and could be a very powerful bat at the next level, with the right team and right hitting instructor, not sure about his foot speed.

Coach Pioneers, I mean, Coach Walker, DOES NOT have Rickey Morris anymore, to teach his kids how to hit and play baseball, therefore, you will see the same results, as you seen when Coach walker resigned , earlier (to spend more time with his family) as you did with his Pioneer teams, when he had to stand on his own two feet. He put Coach Holt, in there , knowing he would fall flat on his face, so he could convientely take over, when, someone was on the roster that mattered to him. Last year's squad won 2 games , Can we get three this year ???????????????????????????
