  1. Check some of my post out and tell me if I'm doing a good job on being contraversial to the point of making someone plus.
  2. I'm glad you can count add and subtract, but that still doesnt tell us who scored the points. I assumed that Smith got beat because none of you were on hear talking about how good you all were like back in late January early Febuary.
  3. Which team won Smith or DCA? Just thought I'd get on here and try to stir the pot a little. You boys over in SC havnt been talking near as much about the owls as of late. You started early in the spring wanting to talk everyday on this upcoming season. Now that we have actually got some real football(spring games)to talk about, you people dont say anything. Come on tell us how Smith Co. will be the region champs like you were all proclaiming in early Febuary of 2007.
  4. Go back to Italy for all I care and probably many more care also. I thought from the sounds of some of your post you never played football before. I guess we can now disreguard all the info you put on here because its fairly worthless anyway. We can talk football and end some of the worthless trash talk now, seeing how both teams have a scrimmage or 2 under their belt for the 2007 season. I havnt heard any of your buddies comment in a while. Guess no body up in Smith county can afford the $1 a month it cost to talk football out of season. Or did the scrimmage we had with Trousdale shut some of those people up who predicted us to come in 4th in the region this year. Mainly you Kungfu goober. Termite said he could get a good judge on how we would be because he knew what Trousdale had but he never commented on what he deemed each team to be. I'm sure all that money you made kickboxing you can afford to pay $1 a month for a fellow Smith Countianite glover. Why dont you make Termite a plus member?
  5. How bad did DCA make Smith Co. look in the scrimmage yesterday? We know Smith Co. usually shys away from playing private schools. Did they get their hat handed to them or did they compete? Would just like to hear some input. If no one comments we will asume they got beat fairly bad.
  6. Westmoreland and Watertown took to the field for the last scrimmage of spring practice for the eagles. I thought Brooks had a good solid day passing for it to have been the first week back from baseball. Defensive line looked very powerful and strong. I thought Ragland and Kemper looked solid at defensive ends. Cody Green looked very good at corner back. Great run after the interception also. All and all looks promising at this point if the boys keep working hard and getting better in the offseason we can win another regional title and possibly even more. GO EAGLES..............
  7. There wouldnt be too much to say that would cause anyone to be very interested. That is if it were not for me and singray on here. If I were afraid of anyone, do you think I would give the info out that I have. You are the one who hasnt gave much info out about himself. I think most people on here should know who I am by now if they really want to. Im reeeeeeeaaaaaaaallllllllllllll scared.
  8. That reminds me of another story that came from a man who lived in GV once. There lived a big mean bull in a lush green pasture all alone until called upon to do his duties. He feard no one, he ate all the grass he wanted with out competition. He was eating one day happily and came upon a lush clump of grass that looked so good and easy to eat. He gulped that clump of grass in his mouth not knowing there was a small bee inside the clump. The bee quickly stung the big mean bull and out flew the little bee unharmed and ready to buzz around in the lush green field with the old bull once more. Feeling like the bull had felt earlier(unchallenged by anything in the field) he went back into a lush clump of grass to once more buzz around happily and bravely. The bull once more gulped the little bee back down while he was in the lush green clump of grass(because thats what bulls do). This time the little bee had a different frame of mind when he got ate. He decided to take a nap before he stung the bull, not be so agressive because he had been there and done that. The little bee woke up to find himself lying in a fresh green patty. He had been digested and deposited while he was asleep. The moral of the story is, just because you have been there and done that you might not ought to get lax to early or you may be like the little bee, digested and deposited while asleep. Do you like that little story MO$$$?
  9. In my opinion this is why I say the region is GV to lose. They have the talent, strength, and ability. The question only rest in the mental aspects of there game. A win in that 2nd game of the season could go along ways mentally for that team. Your right about the guru. He is one of the best to take less talent and do more with it. They will be fine I'm sure but not the calibur team GV can become. Cant wait till ya'll make me look brilliant in that second game by 2TD's. Watch out though when you come to the rockpile in MOTOWN because we will have vengence on our mind. I'm exepecting a barn burner. On another note, What colleges are looking at your QB if any?
  10. I wish more of those region 4-2A folks would get plus, Its no fun talking to yourself. I got plus 2days ago.
  11. You mean like the tornadoe that rolled through Carthage in late November last year? Or the wind blowing out of glovers mouth when he speaks?
  12. Well Termite, being familiar as you are with both programs where do you see Westmoreland at now after the scrimmage? I bet you had to work late and didnt get to attend did you? I hope not, because I'm waiting for your educated and informative opinion on this matter. Reply back soon, so we can have as much time as possible to work on your suggestions and disaprovals.
  13. I know..I know...your like me, just happy to get to talk about some real football instead of weight lifts and years past. I told you though that all the info on the scrimmages were just hear say. I had to attend my sonslittle league game yesterday evening and I was not at the GV scrimmage either. The man I talked to however attended both. Like I say he was very impressed by GV. The containment problem you described may be because that back you all were facing may be the best you will face all year. No team can be too overly confident because of a scrimmage but young players can gain a little confidence facing a traditional power like Goodpasture or Trousdale Co. and doing well. Yeah I'm a little giddy to hear how we done but I want to stay realistic also. I'm still predicting GV by 2TD's in the second game of the year.
  14. Any body out there want to talk about the scrimmage with Trousdale? How does it feel to strap it up against an opponent for the first time this season? I heard we looked tough and hardnosed, thats what people wandered about this season. We have to keep working, but have a great opportunity ahead of us this season. GO EAGLES.........
  15. Ever since that scrimmage you have been giddy as a school girl MO$$$$, why is that?
  16. From what I'm hearing after that GV scrimmage. SP may be in a world of hurt along with many other 1A and some 2A that have to play GV this season. Yeah Goodpasture had some boys out but they always have alot of talent speed and agility everywhere on that 2A state championship calibur team. I heard GV looked overpowering, which is a very good sign for a 1A team to look playing against anything Goodpasture has to put on the field.
  17. I didnt get to go due to my son's baseball game, but I talked to a reliable source about the scrimmage. The same source attended the Gordonsville/GP scrimmage. He told me he thought GV looked like the region and possibly the state championship was theirs to lose. As for the Westmoreland scrimmage, he said that he was most impressed by the fullback and by the fact that Freeman finished his runs off very well tonight. Trousdale may not be showing everything they have because they havnt went over it yet, but they sure would not be holding back on playing defense and I heard we run over them with our inside running. I was also told that one of our starting linebackers had to go out after the first series on defense due to injury. Overall the person I talked to seemed somewhat impressed. He also said that our starting defensive line played well.
  18. I was wondering if any Smith Co. fans can tell me what they think about the Westmoreland Trousdale scrimmage if they even attended or not?
  19. Your the first person I have ever seen who loves his hometown so much he says its not for him because its a "little po dunk" place. Is every body over there as proud to be from carthage as you? If you come to our school and coach, dont tell my kid Westmoreland is a little po dunk place. I have lived here all my life and am dang proud to call this "little po dunk" place my home. Come to the scrimmage tommorrow if you can make it. Its in a "little po dunk" town they call Hartsville.
  20. Yeh I respect Gordonsville. Like I said the man who coached me for 6 years went to school there. He was always a respectable person. You can tell alot about where a person grew up by the way he acts. Point made is by the way you seem to act, you are definitely from that "Po dunk" town you referred to as Carthage. Good luck next season Gordonsville, especially that 2nd game of the season.
  21. Glover, you seem to be taking this stuff just a little too personal. Calm down a couple of notches man. If we didnt get on here and aggravate each other this time a year, then it would not be too much to say that would cause anyone to be very interested. I mean think about it, no body even knows who all will make it through summer camp yet, heck the rest of spring practice for all that matter. Just sit back and enjoy some of the talk about the good ole days when all you Smith Co. boys looked up to us Westmoreland football players like your heros.
  22. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> Dont forget to pick your check up glover, you'll need money to pay your light bill so you can still post on coach t. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
  23. Yes I'm telling you that. On top of that they were I think 0-8 at the time. This means no body knew who they were and probably thought they were another team we would steam roll over. Goodpasture doesnt bring many fans to any of their games. Would you not consider them any good? Come to any Westmoreland game that they are playing Macon, Portland, Trousdale, Smith, Allen Co. Ky, and see if they dont have a big crowd. What got us started about this was not about crowds. It was why you all dont want to play the private schools. The simple reason is not because of bigger gates whether you try to play if off as that or not. I have already told you the reason and I stand firm on that belief. Heck, go back and look at what one of your former players(Oldsc7)said last fall. He said that SC wouldnt mind playing East Robertson if they were put back in the region but didnt want Goodpasture because that was one of the reasons they moved up to 3A. He played on the team that moved up he should know right?
  24. From a Westmoreland fan to a Tiger fan I just want to say that I hope ya'll can get over that mental hump the 2nd game of the season. I say mental hump because in my opinion that is all it is. I watched Smith Co. and Gordonsville last year. My opinion they were pretty equal. I hope Gordonsville can take the Westmoreland win of last year and use it to there advantage against the (in county rival and big mouth bunch from Carthage) Smith Co owls. We have always respected Gordonsville's toughness and well coached and prepared athletes over here in Westmoreland. Coach Kelly was my head coach all the way from 7th grade to 12th. He always wanted to prepare to the best of his ability for Gordonsville because he had great respect for his old highschool. I think most up here in Westmoreland will pull for ya'll in every game except one this year.
  25. I knew you and cousin Goober were pumping gas over there at the filling station. Which one is it?I want you to wash my windows on my right hand drive jag you mentioned I had earlier. I thought you were never going to comment on another post of mine, just couldnt resist could ya goober I mean glover.
