  1. Just had to comment on the PC vs. Santa Fe game!! PC just wasn't on their game and couldn't hit their usual 3's. PC has nothing to be ashamed of. They played hard this season, being the only team also to beat Collinwood in the District!! Santa Fe has a very tall and talented team and pulled out a good win!! I've followed 12A basketball all season and one thing I have to say is how well Dabbs from PC played after that horrible ankle injury. You sure couldn't tell she had been out 5 games! She came right in and scored 20 points to lead her team for the night!! As far as I've been told, her ankle is only about 75% back!! Whoever picks this girl up will have a winner!! Anyone who can have that bad of an injury and come back and score 20 points and play is well as she did, is a very determined and talented player. Sorry to hear that Collinwood & Summertown were also put out!! Looks like Wayne Co. is the only one left representing District 12A.
  2. Well, all things considered, Santa Fe definitely has the size going for them, but if PC plays as well as they have against Summertown the last two times and Collinwood when they defeated them, then PC has a pretty good chance of coming out on top in this one. If PC will put it to them on defense and make good on some fast breaks, then they will be fine. Dabbs for PC is expected to get some limited playing time Friday. Her ankle is by no means 100%, but has improved by leaps and bounds over this last week! Hopefully, PC can get the job done without Dabbs hitting the floor, so hopefully come Monday, Dabbs can be back on the floor. Collinwood will be hard to beat without Dabbs, and I just don't know if PC has what it takes to beat them without her.
  3. I follow District 12A basketball and just found out that Senior Kazeray Dabbs from Perry County injured her ankle last night in the game against Hampshire. She was taken to the ER and x-rays showed no break thankfully, or so I was told. I hate to see any injury in sports, especially when it's a senior with so much potential!! I think everyone should say a prayer that Dabbs will be healed up and back on the floor soon!! District 12A is full of talent and should be a real showdown come tournament time. We're praying for you Kazeray!! Get well soon!
  4. Does anyone know the full list for the All-Region Team for 6A. If so could you please let me know, especially if or who made it from Perry Co. Thanks!
  5. Just sending some luv from PC!! Congratulations Trojanettes, glad to see a 12A team go all the way!! Best of luck at sub-state! On another note, does anyong know who made the All-Region team from PC?
  6. Collinwood will take this one!! 12A ALL THE WAY!!
  7. Collinwood will win this no problem!!
  8. I'm pulling for ya Summertown!! Hope u beat Moore County Monday night!!
  9. I was just joking earlier, wasn't trying to be smart!! Our girls did struggle tonight and the refs stunk, but they will be back next year if all goes well!
  10. I guess you can't take a joke! Ya'll want make it much farther anyway, so we're not worried about u here in PC!
  11. We're talking about PC & Moore Co. here, not Summertown & Richland. Start your own thread!! LOL!!
  12. Although I will say District 12A is a little weaker than usual this year, I still believe come region time they will be ready to play. I wouldn't say they will take it over by any means, but they will be some tough teams to beat!! Collinwood will probably be the biggest threat of them all. I believe Summertown will have a tough time getting past Richland, and I also believe Wayne Co. vs Santa Fe will be a nail-biter! Perry County will also have to play tough in order to defeat Moore Co. PC is a young team, starting no seniors and 1 freshman, and also carrying a very inexperienced bench with only 1 freshman & 1 junior seeing very much playing time this year. Although they did pull it together to beat a #1 ranked Summertown! We'll just have to see! Don't count 12A out yet!!
  13. I do agree, he did keep his composure when we played them the other night, but the two games before were terrible. He argued with the refs after every call, and was even standing on the sideline having a water break while his teammate was shooting foul shots! I know he's just a kid, so maybe when he gets to college his laziness and attitude will change for the better. If he works at it, he could be a very good ball player!
