I forgot to add that they also beat Hendersonville in a pre-season scrimmage. So that would mean that they beat Portland, Beech, Station Camp, (regular season) Gallatin, (Jamboree) and Hendersonville (preseason) GO DEVILS.

WH also beat Gallatin in the Sumner County Jamboree.

How many starting seniors are there on the team? I know Tiger fans have to be very proud and excited about their team.

Anybody who has a child who plays football in this region (and others) know how much time and effort is put into the game both on and off the field. They do give it their ALL. I hate to hear any child being put down and I'm also sorry to hear this happened where a sibbling could hear it. How discouraging. They should rally around their program but the kids at school are going to come to school and repeat what they hear at home and what they hear said in the stands Friday night. As a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, it is hard sitting in the stands and listening to what goes on around you. It happens everywhere. Good luck to both teams this week. May everyone stay injury free.

He has put most all of his kick offs in the end zone. I pretty sure that Friday night was the only time 2 did not make it there. He has a leg on him and should be able to get scholarship money if he wants to.

I would put Coach Porter and his whole staff along with Coach Rankin and his staff. Not only does Coach Porter coach the boys on the field, he and his staff are there for theem off the field. He teaches them about community, responsibility, and discipline. He has a top notched program. After playing Alcoa, Coach Rankin definitely earns respect. I'm a little biased having sons that went through the WH program so I would put Coach Porter and his staff just a little above.
