  1. I wouldn't shake hands with the classless players of LC either. Did you notice your players talking trash towards the Cookeville sidelines after they converted the last 1st down?? I'm not crying. Its just pretty ironic that LC gets dominated all over the state but when they played at the "pit", they always seem to pull out a victory. Maybe LC can go back to Brentwood and get some more talented players. That kid is a stud. Im not going to say LC cheated but you just did and they always say the guilty dog always barks 1st so there ya go. In reference to your comment about MUS, they are a very very good team. Maybe next year, LC will add some good teams to their schedule and not play average teams like Baylor and Independence...both games they got beat. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  2. Its about time Lincoln County won a game against Cookeville in the pit. The past 3 meetings in "the pit" resulted in Cookeville wins. With the officiating crew like last night, its no wonder LC is 144-38 at home. Congrats to both teams. Its a shame Cookeville couldn't score in the red zone. One big difference between these 2 teams. Cookeville wins and loses with CLASS. Something the mighty Falcons need to learn. Lets see who goes further in the playoffs. LC will be lucky to sneaky by the 1st round. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  3. 1. Cookeville's Red and White game had alot of scoring! I can't remember when that many points have been scored. 2. Cookeville has both QB's returning and quite a few defensive linemen coming back. 3. Cookeville's long term offensive coordinator/assistant coach Steve Medlin recently stepped down. As a former offensive linemen, Coach Medlin was a great coach and overall person. Hopefully he'll be back on the sidelines in no time! http://www.herald-citizen.com/index.cfm?ev...7BB107B39C17B9C
  4. Yes. Cookeville's locker room was broken into and the players had everything stolen. Wallets, keys, whatever was around. I saw probably 50 "cops" before the game directing traffic and standing around. Kinda sad no one can watch a gym. There were plenty around after the crime had taken place though. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  5. The referee crew used tonight was terrible. They are a complete travesty to high school football...anyone there knows and would agree from BOTH sides. Good season Cavs and good luck to the bulldogs.
  6. Cookeville 28 Franklin County 8 Cookeville played solid all night. Offense was rolling with the passing game and hard running. Cookeville completely dominated FC the entire 1st half. I haven't seen Cookeville play this physical all year. FC has alot of talent though. Too bad discipline is lacking and that results in a poor record. #88 for FC is a beast and #10 is an impressive QB.
  7. 6:30 Central Time i think Cookeville by 14
  8. Come out and watch the mercy rule go into play tonight...Cumberland Co has no chance. Cookeville- Whatever they want Cumberland Co- 6 (maybe a couple of early field goals)
  9. You have GOT to be kidding...there is no way that UT would even imagine signing someone who can only block down. You apparently do not watch many UT football games because those linemen are way more agile and have a tad bit more skill. I would say Cumberland University would be a good fit. MAYBE TTU but im not too sure about that. Im sure Vince McMahon of the WWE would give him a shot since he likes 7 foot men! hahaha!
  10. Whats happening with Sunbright this year?? All I heard was they were huge and should easily go 5-0 the first 5 games of the year, but seems like things arent going as planned being 0-2. I know the head coach and im sure he's practicing the crap out of them...whats not clicking for these boys??
  11. Amen to that!(besides your score being so close and asking the radiers to prove you wrong, haha) As far as special teams, Cookeville has one of the best high school kickers that I have personally ever seen. He easily boots the ball into the end zone on every kickoff if instructed. Jerred Griggs is a heck of a return man..ask Knoxville Central, they found out the hard way. When i watched #78 play for Coffee County, I wasn't impressed. True, he's 7 feet tall but his technique isn't all state material at all. Also, getting ejected last week against Oakland should tell you something. Maybe the ref was trigger happy but you must have some self control. Looking forward to a great game friday! Coffee County has an amazing field.
  12. In 2005 Cookeville 28 Coffee County 13 In 2006 Cookeville 45 Coffee County 35 So you sir apparently call losing by at least 10 points the past 2 years CLOSE?!?! Pretty sad you have to date back to 2003 for the last victory against Cookeville, but I believe that was during Cookeville's rebuilding year. In 2002, I played and was handed the L by Coffee County, but we went on to win the region. Cookeville has owned this region for 4 out of the last 5 years. Until Coffee County can stop talking on the computer and do something on the field...nothing will ever change. Good Luck!
  13. Whens the last time Coffee County beat Cookeville?? Has Coffee County ever won a region championship? Rolled through or not, a win is a win and Cookeville always seems to come out on top.
  14. Cookeville has momentum on their side and will roll through Coffee County like they have in the past. All I've heard is about some all state running back from Florida joining CC this year....if they have to go out of state to try to get players, something must be wrong. I say they might need to get about 10 more players from Florida if they wanna beat Cookeville this year. Cookeville 21 Coffee County 6
