Portland is a football town and the only reason people came out to see them last year was cause of Cory. They did have a good coaching staff with Coach Kington, but then he resigned when Brewer was gone. Now they have a new coach that has lost their first five games.They are in last place in the region and the rest of the season isnt looking to good for theses boys. The boys arent bad players they all just lack the varsity time.

Corey Brewer of Portland High School was recently named Tennessee's Gatorade Player of the Year. All that is left now for Corey is Mr. Basketball. I guess we'll find out that answer on the 26th.

Corey Brewer of Portland dunks anytime he choses. Just ask #42 of East Lit. He dunks 2 or 3 a game on average.

Corey Brewer scorched Harpeth last night for 51 points. Almost beating them by himself.

Gomab, I agree Shawne is a great player but he is no where near the player that Corey is. Also if Corey hadn't joined the YOMCA then they would have not won the national title anyways.

Brian as for what u said about me playing college ball only for my Dad is not true. I am going to attend college, but as for where I am unsure. I am more focused on the season at hand, and will make my decision after the year. You are right though I am not being heavily recruited but maybe by us advancing in the tournament that will all change. So next time don't start a thread on me unless you know the whole truth, and I am available for all options in my near future.

There seems to be something good going on in Portland right now.They were just at the Cookville playday and beat York by 15, Livingston Academy by 10, and Clinton by 17. They have also beaten Whites Creek, Sycamore, Gallatin, and Cookville. So look for them to be tops in district 8aa.

This summer along with laying with the Travelers, Corey attended the Nike Hoop Jamboree, and the Nike All-American camp in Indianapolis. And Sleep23 Corey is still at Portland and will be their for the next 2 years. As for COACHF I have been getting alot of NAIA offers, and a pretty good amount of mid-major D1 schools, but thats about it.
