I know it has been mentioned that Chip Kell may have been involved with a possible recruiting violation on a transfer from Georgia, and the Temple Booster/Asst. Coach may be involved on some questionable issues. Zonepirate, Do you think Temple could have a third head coach when all is said and done?

If you click on coaching staff and then click on their pictures. Skogen is listed as the asst. coach and off. coord. Steve Beard is the one listed as the head coach.

I don't belive this situation will close Temple, but it will hurt the schools future growth. I have heard they had 100 new students that registered this year. Obviously that doesn't mean their enrollment increased that much. You would have to subtract transfers ect. The new administrations inexperience did seem to be what really multiplied all the problems. It seems they could have minimized the damages. More importantly minimized the bad reputation that will cloud the school for years to come.

Wadley resigned not last school year, but the previous school year. That would be May of 2006. Temple had an interim AD last year which could be part of the problem. Noone seemed accountable to anybody last year. The headmaster was also in her first year.

Those were the days when it was the District 4-A. That was when the rumors about recruiting hovered around the Valley (LV) and not Temple.

Here is one thing I have been wandering. Skogen mentioned he knew there were issues with chastain. Why did he keep him on the football staff? Did he not have the right to say we don't do things like that so you can't be on our staff. Does the coach not decide who is on their staff, or is it different at Temple?

Was this Lovingood guy the coach of Southeast when Chastain was there? If so he didn't mind that chastain recruited Eric to play for Southeast.

Can a coach be banned from coaching for a school that belongs to TSSAA for recruiting? Did Scott Chastain leave SE Whitfield because of any violations?
