I just find that hard to beleive. My stepson played for Jersey and he never ran him to AE. He is like Jim Boehiem when it comes to 2-3 zone. they won the county a few years ago.

I wonder if he knows Steve Smith at Oak hill and could set up a game with them next year? that worked as you see Bearden have guys sign. They could also go to soem big tournaments and quit going to lame local ones.

they need some who can inspire the kids in the halls to play like Duncan has in spring football. He even got my cuz out who is also a hooper. those athletes around there just need someone to ask them to play and show them that practice is going to fun or maybe limit practice to every other day.

If you don't run and gun and press, how are you going to sell the best players on knox county or in south doyle hallways to leave the boys club and play for the school? how will you get SDMS kids to come. Talking to them is not enough, maybe pick them and take them home for every practice, like an activity bus would help

They need to get a coach familiar with the "memphis style offense" dribble drive type stuff. they have the guards that are quick and get penetrate. Barnes was too busy worring about defense and holding the ball, passing 20 times.

Thats where Barnes lacked, no one in his two years signed DIV 1. They need someone who can sell college coaches on their talents. I know for a fact 7 freshman played varsity this past season and a few of them could be prospects later on down the road. I hops STIXs gets it then. I would love to see some Kees playing next level ball.

South Doyle needs someone who is a great hall recruiter. Those coaches seemed to get kids out. South Doyle has over 1300 kids ,they have to be in the school but just not playing. What about Jersey at the Middle school. He is the only one that has proven they can win in that community.

Has anyone contacted Jody Wright ,Mark Blevins, Charles Mitvhell or Donald dodgen about this job? With the talent coming up why didn't they go after one of the more successful head coaches in town. Maybe one of them would want the challenge.

either guys sounds good. SD is in good shape with talent and they have excellent facilites, lockerroom amd weightroom to attract players from all over knox and blount county

Seymour is a good job maybe better than LC/ look at the past. LC will have one good year with Hood and thats it, look at the District. Remember Hood is a transfer also. they have had one two winning seasons in the last 8 years and they were last two years. Seymour has some potential!!

Whoever takes it will be loaded. They only lost one player that mattered and bigboy is healthy. Plus moving away from B,F, and M to IMAC. this is a good situation for someone who can recruit the hallways.

New news, John Walker has not applied and doesn't want it. this is strange because they have everyone back except the baker kid. If the big boy had not got hurt this past season that would have had a decent year. Someone is walking into a good nuclues back and a few in the HALLS that could help. I think this could be a goldmine job for the right coach. Front runners: Stixs, Creech, Darden, Damon Johnson, John Higgons, numerous AAU guys have applied

His name is John Walker and was JV coach the last two years, did a heck of a job with them. Played at Carter a few years back. Brother is coach at Holston MS which could be a pipeline to rebuild program at SD. Good Hire!!

you right shimano: sometimes it just takes the right personality, Barnes was too stuff on rules and Walker is younger with more energy. the Golf job is a good one with Pine lakes and other courses close by. I hope he take sthe KEES to the next level IMAC Champs!!! 2010

I guess your right, but I was referring to him maybe retiring at some point, he may stay for a while, i think he would be an excellent hire, probably puts them in the sub-state next year, as long as hood and powers are healthy

Don't think girls is open. coach Walker will need a good assistant who can recruit his on middle school players and maybe steal some back from alcoa, fulton and AE or blount county. If John recruits the hallway, something that has not been done, he will have an improved squad that can compete in IMAC.

Heard that John Walker current interim head coach will get the job, he has relationships with players and is a good young upcoming coach. DRIBBLE/DRIVE MOTION is on the way.

Everybody just need to chill. LC will hire a good coach, they have a great player for one year, then you have to remember what league they are in! Seymour is a better job overall. Coach needs to stay. Let LC hire Rodeny Nelson and they can look for another coach in two or three years again.

If you look your current head coach has been to 3 state tournaments in GA and 3 sub-states at Oneida!! Wakeup! It's not the coaching, you must have players, especially in that district
