I have to say the Unaka Rangers will be there again! They lost several key players, but some experience is still there. -
I am tired of people saying that Unaka isn't that good. OK, so there is a chance that we may not repeat as State Champs, but FACE IT, we are 1 of only 8 teams left in the state. That right there says enough. Yeah we are that good. So are the other teams that are there. No one makes it this far if they are just average. There are other good teams that aren't even playing at the 'Boro. After all, only 1 team will be left after the championship. Last year it was us. All the teams that are still playing deserve respect and credit, whether they are liked or not. So, if you think any of the teams aren't good that are there, go watch them play and let the game settle the discussions. Until then though, Unaka is STILL the Defending State Champs.

I have to say I think my boys from Unaka will play in the 'Boro again this year. I'd love to see a repeat of last years state tournament. Best of luck Ranger players and coaches!
