Hey tigerfan... I will go ahead and come out and say... if ur a true fan ... ur not gonna go against the coach... I know that im not a scorer and understand the fact that in order for us to have a chance last night we had to score so i think coach made the right move and I understood the fact that I only played 2 min. the 2nd half. ...Just dont blame the coach ... have u ever thought about the players being tired... we played 2 games in three nights and we had to play the whole game in order to win.

Should be a great game... the tigers will have their legs under them but unaka will be at home.... how is this one going to play out? And who is going to the boro'

Rufus, Your right on the Oneida vs. Cosby game. If Oneida is hitting it could be a long night for cosby fans but if not, like I said earlier.... the eagles will soar.

Coalfield vs Rockwood should be another good one. The youngans from Rockwood dont know how to quit. So if Coalfield comes in cocky they may walk out just like Greenback did. Good luck tigers. Keep working. Wartburg vs. Oneida...you are saying mcgee will be the factor....yea but a small one.... The two you gotta watch from wartburg are Ashley Jones and District tourney MVP- Milicent Blakney. Ashley Jones seems to be the one who is there when they need a score and as for Blakney... she can take over... If you seen or even heard the district championship game.... You kno she has the ability to take a game over... she took over in the fourth in the district championship game... if it is close look for the same out of her again.

Sportsmom25, No upset???? You may be right but I think Harriman and CAK will be the upset.... Harriman has alot of speed and talent ... they slow down knovikoff.. they win... they dont... they fall first round

This region is up for grabs. There are a couple of teams who could win it but who will? Wartburg #1 vs. TSD #4.... enough said... Wartburg to semi's Rockwood #2 vs. Midway #3... county rivalry... anything can happen... Rockwood has taken care of business so far... can they continue Harriman #3 vs. CAK #2... Harriman has talent and speed... if the can stop knovikoff I think they have a shot. Oneida #4 vs. Cosby #1... should be another good one... if Oneida is on it could be a long night for the eagles but if not, the eagles will sore to the semi's. Goood luck boyz.

Like the old saying goes " You live and die by the three." Oneida has some talanted players and are capable of doing some upsetting in the region. If they are on... they beat cosby in a #1-#4 upset if not.... its going to be a long night.

The girls from wartburg played hard tonight. Blakney played a great game and deserved the MVP. If you look at the stat sheet for the championship game.... everything is about dead even. It was a great game. Blakney tore it up the second half until she started cramping but she's a ballplayer and she also has the looks. Ashley Jones was also a big factor in the first half, when they needed a score she got it for them. The lady dogs are good and have a shot at being great in the boro. As for the consulation game, Rockwood had to many turnovers. They come out in the first qrt. and had prob. 10 in the qrt alone. I kno they had about 15 for the second half but everyone knows in tourney time you cant have that. Good luck next wk girls.

I watched the game last night and it was a good one. Both teams played hard and did well. Blakney is a basketball player and hey she even has looks to go with it...lol. But your right she was the difference in the game. She took over in the second half and coalfield had noone who could stop her. I dont know how many she ended up with but she struggled late in the fourth due to craps so she could have had more if it wasn't for that. Good game and good luck next week at region.

Rockwood plays at 8 o'clock monday night against Sunbright. I think the game that everyone is wanting to see though is, Rockwood-Wartburg round three. I think these two will be the two playing for the district championship. Oakdale will play Harriman monday also. Harriman has beat Oakdale in a combined 7 points. Should be a good one. How are u going to say that when this region has done proven they can play. Yea so what we haven't got all the size in the world but size doesn't matter.... if u dont believe me , look at who won state last yr and their odds. It dont matter who it is in substate there will be two good games either way.

Coach K has his tigers playing well. They rapped up the regular season w/ a loss to Kingston last night in a close one. The tigers played hard and well and now they are looking foward to tourney time. The tigers will have sunbright in the opening round of the district tourney. Then they will either play Harriman or Oakdale. I think if the boyz from the jungle can play like they have been and keep working hard, they can be sitting in the boro in about a 4 wks. And when you have a coach like Coach K.... he will find a way to get back if they can. K always seems to have his team ready to go at tourney time. I think if they can find a way to get in the substate game... they will find a way to get back to the boro. What do you think??????? The tigers also have four seniors who deserve one more trip to the boro. Corey Payne, Ellery Harvest, Johnny Coker, and David Butler. Coach K has gotten everything he has ever wanted out of these four. Payne is a ballplayer who is able to drive and shoot, Harvest is one who can post you up or step out side and make you defend. Coker will score a point here and there but from the looks of things he has brought leadership and a good defensive player on the court. Butler is a wing playing post, he is one of the smallest post but he always finds a way to get open.

The Tigers cant be doin that bad.... they beat coalfield the other night and they are either second in the district. They have a good team and if there is ever a night that the inside came is clicking w/ the outside game or the outside game is clicking w/ the inside game... its going to be a long night for the opponent. Coach K is a good coach and will have his team ready to win come tourney time. He has some good talent that good get him to another boro' trip but they are gonna have to work. As for the players: Hackler is a good post who is good for about one dunk a game but, he could be a great post if he really wanted to be. Payne is a shooter who can be very deadly. Coaker has been defending the opponents best outside shooter from what I heard so, he is just a hustler. Butler and Harvest are good ball players as long as they keep their temper, but once they blow up, their night is finished. And the five that come off the bench.... Gilmore is one who can shoot and drive but, he is still young and will make his mistakes. Moffitt is 100 mph all the time. Morgan is a hustler. Peddicord and Willis can help this team alot as long as they keep working. This is a good team who could be dangerous around tourney time. If they can find a way to make it to the region championship... I think they will find a way to win the sectional game. From looking at scores and stats .. they haven't been playing well but they always find a way to win.
