Christopher did not have her usual performance. Saw her at state last year and was very impressed. I saw 5 games this year in which she played. All those games were against highly ranked teams. Christopher is an outstanding player but the games in the state this year were against outstanding defensive opponents. Clarkrange, and particularly Hanna Green, have held several outstanding players to much less than their normal average. Kayla had 11 points against Lake Co. and 4 against Clarkrange. Oooopppss! Don't think I had that exactly correct. Lose and go home except for the Region 2nd place team. Guess you can lose the Championship game and at least not go home yet.

Totally understood your IF and I did not mean it to sound as if the IF were not there. Just have to take one game at a time. Know the Trousdale game is not expected to be an issue and I certainly don't think it will be, but you have to get that W first. I truly expect Clarkrange to be playing for the gold ball but it's one game at a time to get there. Loose and you go home. Have to take each game seriously. As a wise man told me "The only one that can keep you from having a prefect record is your next opponent".

Have to beat Trousdale Co. first, but in that event Clarkrange would play the winner of the Gordonsville vs Clay Co. game. That game would be in Watertown on Monday 3/2 at 6:00 PM. Either Gordonsville or Clay could win. I'm thinking Clay???? Clay split with Gordonsville during the season and Clay beat Friendship twice. Could go either way.

Just wondering if anyone knew what happened on the technical foul called on Pickett's #22 during Q4 of the game last night. I could not tell what was happening. From what I saw, 2 Pickett players were on the floor and the Clay post sqeezed thru for the shot. From where I sat was unable to see the foul or the actions that resulted in the technical. It sure seemed to be the turning point of the game.

Is there a certain time for the cut-off to "pick" or does it depend on what time the game begins?

Games tend to get dropped in at the last minute during tournament time. If you have not picked before a certain number of hours before the game is played, you are not able to do so.

Herald Citizen said Clarkrange game was at 7:30, but I don't think that is correct. You might want to verify with someone else.

Well, since there is no playoff of A, AA, and AAA we will never know the answer to this one. I'm looking forward to the tournaments to see how Clarkrange does. We may see then how good they are. Would have been nice to see them against some more challenging opponents. Don't think they have really been tested at this point.
