Conference goes 4-1 this week . . .

Make no mistake . . . M-West has good coaching also! I'll be surprised if Greeneville pulls this one out Friday night. Best of luck to both teams. If Greeneville takes another one on the chin, no shame . . . The Trojans are typically a very solid 5A program year in and year out.

No tunnel vision here . . . Just "who’s next" on the schedule. All we can do is keep getting better every week and hope everyone stays healthy.

Yeah, The Hill was sloppy at times and at times did the "what the heck are you thinking" mistakes. From what I understand there were a few cramps, nothing big so far.

I agree voltnh . . . Like I said on the other thread - Nobody gets much better without being challenged. Good competition makes us all better. We at Johnson City need to venture out and play the better schools in Knoxville and the surrounding areas. Playing Betsy helps pay the bills because of all the fan support. But, if we are going to reach our goal, which is ultimately a state title. We have to venture out of our area. If we are going to win a 6A state championship, we’re not gonna get there by beating up on a 4A school. We gotta be pushed, we gotta be challenged (I believe). Steal doesn’t get harder unless it is heat-treated. We need the heat of good competition! But, first things first . . . We need to beat DB.

Greeneville has a lot of heart and a winner's mentality. Should be an interesting match-up. Good luck to both teams! Where is the game being played?

WOW . . . Dang WaCo . . . Ya think they'll put up 62?! I don't think The Hill will have any problems with Betsy, but I don't know if they hang 62 on'em in Elizabethton. The Cyclones always seem to have a little extra for us over there (and a little help from the fella's in stripes).

Oh and by the way . . . Not sure what to say about a DB fan/supporter creating a message board just to talk about SCIENCE HILL! I guess I should just say "thank you for thinking about us enough to create a thread to just talk about SCIENCE HILL FOOTBALL"!

All our boys should be thinking about is Betsy next Friday. Nothing else really matters at this point and time.

Holy cow . . . I think I saw Michael Oher wearing #75 for Science Hill! All kidding aside . . . It was a good win for the Hill, but they sure had a lot of penalties. QB Hayes was pretty sharp with his throws – good runner too. The QB for Greeneville will be sore tomorrow. He took a lot of hard licks. Overall - decent first game.

I agree 100% I hope the rain and storms holds off.

I'll be surprised if Greeneville gets out of JC with a win.
