Well now I am thinking to much about it so what is the story of the field? I know that it has been there for forever, and that before the playoffs started Trousdale hosted one of the biggest bowl games there was. I had always thought that the field had always been in the same place right next to the school. Then one day they moved the school but left the field right where it was because of the history, mystical force field.... ect. I realize I have not been around nearly as long as the field but what is the history of it?

First of all, I have never in my life claimed to be a Trousdale county expert. There are enough others on coachT for that job, last time i knew the creekbank was a good distance from the high school. Mabey got it wrong. Guess I should study more for the Trousdale County test. As far as my paper, Haven't gotten it back yet so I can't rub it in yet. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> Wonder what a case of Gold Balls is worth? I have no idea. Don't have a single one myself. I can tell you this though, they could do with selling one of them and buying you some class. You know, that thing that alot of Trousdale posters on coachT have but you apparently lack...

I don't know what i'm gonna wear... the Only FCS stuff I have is a t-shirt so thats not gonna happen as cold as it has been, right now it is looking like the bright orange UT sweatshirt... and Yes, I will be driving down to South Pitt after class and heading back up after the SP game, didn't get a ticket to the Arky game yet but there is 100,000 seats. I'm bound to find one. As far as UT vs. Arkansas, I am fully prepared to watch felix jones and D-Mac run all over the Defense, but you are forgetting something, UT has Eric Ainge and Arkansas hasn't even come close to stopping the pass all year long. This game could very easily be 45-42.

Expect a full sweep? You've got to be joking. I'm the one who suggest it that and even I'm not stupid enough to expect a full sweep. The odds of a full swepp... well probobly comparable to the Titans beating the Colts out for the AFC south title... One of those things that could happen, but nobody is exactly planning a part for it.

The difference is that against FCS and against Gordonsville the waterwings had to worry about more than just one guy. Gordonsville has Smith at QB who is a threat to pass the ball or run it, and also Davis who is obviously a big threat to run the football. FCS has Rickaway as a threat to run it, but also their Sophomore QB who has run the ball extremely well this season. And while the passing threat wasn't as big with FCS as it is with Gville, FCS counters it with having yet another good tailback in Markham. Lookout Valley to my knowledge has Chas Scruggs. That is the only name I have ever heard from Lookout valley, if there is anymore please throw them out there... Lookout Valley can win this football game, it isn't one of those "they have no chance games", Lookout Valley has a very good chance. But I will make an obvious prediction that if they don't have any consistent weapons beyond Chas then this game is over.

I tried the Tennessean.com, Times Free Press.com. Been looking all week and I haven't found anything on them...

No problem comming down, been looking forward to seeing a good high school football that didn't include FCS for a change. As far as suprises in possumtown, last year FCS beat Grace 56-14, I feel confident that Grace hasn't made a 42 point improvement. Well I will put myself into the shoes of the voters. Here we go. I have never seen a single one of these canidates every carry a football. I only halfway keep up with 1A football at all. That being said, I don't see Marco not winning this award. Just don't... Better question, beside Marco Dailey and Chad Jordan it is a wide open race for the third canidate. I know shane spann has good numbers, but so does Carr from McKenzie and Lunsford from Hampton, Rickaway from FCS doesn't have great numbers but his name has been all over the papers for 4 years now, Smith from Gville, Robertson from South Pitt.... Just off the top of my head I can think of those six big names that are all associated with six well known schools. Any clue as to who should get the other nod as a canidate?

I am the other way around, until region 5 & 6 prove... anything. Then I will believe that 4 is better. But regardless, this is taking away from a good bowl game discussion. GO MONTEREY!

Glad to hear that and I sure that the concession stand people are as well. By the way it sounds everybody is gonna need to fill up before the game at South Pitt, good thing zone has mentioned so many great places.

Any other night of the week I would be out at a party, or at the very least sitting in the courtyard with some friends.... I have a paper due tommorow so I am clearly spending as much time as possible putting it off...

Nope... There is a lebanon radio station that covered some of the playoff games last year, but with a record FIVE teams in wilson county all playing in the first round of the playoffs i'm gonna bet that the radio station is covering the Lebanon or Central game.

Guys we must have struck a nerve with Josh here.... First of all, the person who said South Pitt had no discipline and was weak was just trying to stir the pot and make people mad... apparently it worked. I've been racking my brain and this is a very subtle subject and I think I know why. I think there is some kind of happy balance but it is basically that one team feels like they deserve more respect, and the others feel like they haven't earned anymore respect yet. South Pitt is getting respect, but not nearly the respect that you would think for a 3 time state championship team that is 10-0. South Pitt feels like they deserve alot more respect and frankly some fear because of this. The idea that any team will give them a good game in the first round is a little insulting to them. It doesn't matter that it is TC, South Pitt feels like as 10-0 and #1 they should have more people on coachT saying "South Pitt wins this one by 21", when if fact alot of people are saying "South Pitt should win this one but might lose, either way a close game". Correct me if that is anything new, thats just what I gather from some posts. Trousdale (and a few others like myself) feel like they are giving South Pitt the respect they have earned. South Pitt is a 3 time champion and 10-0, but I can speak for alot of region 4 when I say that I am not going to crown them until I get a chance to see them. To be brutally honest, this is the same song and dance that we heard about South Pitt last year right before they were dominated by Gordonsville. This is a different year and a vastly improved team, but just like Ohio State, South Pitt is having to overcome a meltdown finish in the previous season. Correct me if any of that sounds wrong but thats just what I gather.

So very true on so many levels... Best of luck at South Pitt, the last time I was at south Pitt it sure was a doozie and I sincerly hope this one is as well. I will be somewhere on the fence hoping for a TC victory. I am sad to say I missed this years FCS vs. TC game but really hope that there is a re-match in the second round. I support FCS first, Region 4 second so as far as this game goes... GO TC!

Could care less about SOS, I don't even know where FCS ranks in that. non-region game is bothersome but the real problem is that depending on what new team came into the region, it would take the place of a game that otherwise would be semi-competitive. It could turn out that i'm over-reacting. But I have this vision that instead of FCS vs. East Robertson, or FCS vs. Ezell, that game would be replaced with FCS vs. cupcake... I like the thought that FCS only has two garunteed wins and they have to work for the rest of their wins.

I am neither an athlete, nor in high school, heck I wasn't an athlete when I was in high school. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> I'm not sure how many seniors were on the team, didn't follow them that well till I got a text that they won and everybody was all excited. Happy for them guys after what happened in football against the same team.
