  1. That's true. Personally I think it will come sown to foul shots. If Cannon keeps up their horrible foul shot percentage in the fourth quarter, they'll be in trouble. The three will be a key factor, too.
  2. Cannon's came prepared last night. We brung it and Dekalb had nothing to say. Dekalb did do a good job of taking it last night and showed good sportsmanship. They were pretty loud, too. Good job to fans on both sides. No one was ejected!
  3. Yes they are legit. Oakland is a very good team that has a great chance to win state. The win the other night convinced me even more. They have great players in Chaisson Allen and Jaffarious Wade and alot of role players that are keys to victory. They have been playing good ball lately and I think that they have a very good chance this year
  4. These two teams meet again on Thursday, and the Lions are coming off of a big win against rival Dekalb Co. I think this one ends up just like the one at Cannon Co. Cannon Co. rolls on. Lion Pride!
  5. So true. If Cannon Co. gets the offense rollin they will be hard to beat. The same thing happened at Macon Co. It was a higher scoring game than Dekalb, but when you hold a team to less than forty-five points, in my opinion, that should be an automatic win.
  6. I was proud of the Dekalb fans and players. They just shrugged it off and didn't take anything to hard. You're right we came prepared and what a better way for the seniors to remember their last home game than on a last second game winner. I do wish they would have scored more points though. It would have been alot more exciting.
  7. I'm not definite on why he did leave the other schools, but I hope he does play at the next level. he diefinitely has the talent.
  8. With 1.4 seconds to go on the game clock, Caleb McCall pulled a last second jump shot to lift the Lions above the Dekalb Co. Tigers. I'm tired of hearing this about him not being a team leader and not being one of the best players in the district because he is. He finished with 18 points and stepped up when he was needed. Congratulations Lions on beating Dekalb! Smith Co. is next in the district tournament.
  9. Undefeated in district play I heard
  10. Coach of the Year- Lesley Smith- LA MVP- Ferris- Smith Co.
  11. Get your facts straight highrizer. Last year was the only time Cannon Co. has went winless in the district in the last ten years.
  12. That's true about Melton. He just sits back and watches. He is also infamous for running up the score. Dunn can be stopped and he is predictable. Dunn still wins regardless. If you want to go there, no one has really been stopped from scoring compoletely. I will admit Dunn is good, but he can be held in check. He's not unstoppable
  13. No Doubt Dunn is the best sophomore if not hte best player. Bailey is showing improvement.
  14. Tell me about it. Hey 7AA wins I'm happy. Go Lions!
  15. There's still one more game to go. I think Ferris win's MVP.
  16. The game is at Cannon County on Monday, February 12. As far as your standings go I'm pretty sure that this is correct. Bass will be contained and the Lions will emerge victorious. Lion Pride!
  17. Maybe your rankings will change after Monday night. ha ha jk. I'm looking forward to a good game.
  18. Cameron Bailey from Cannon Co. He just got back from an injusry and is still getting some of the rust off, but he is a very good post presence for the Lions. He should be a big key to victory in their upcoming games.
  19. Give it to Dunn. He has done awesome this year. Mcwilliams Coach of the Year
