Barb, just give Omar credit! He played a good game and leave it at that. Seems to me, you stay on PTS over on the girls board for making excuses about how many bad calls they get each night. From the few times I have seen Lewis play, I don't think she has the physical or mental toughness that is needed. She has the height needed but lacks the other two traits. Also, I think she has tunnel vision when she has or is getting ready to receive the ball. Seems to me she has her mind made up to either force a pass or jacks up a wild shot(Too many turnovers). Until she works on these areas, I don't see her being a consistent scoring threat.

Just because West got lucky with the #2 seed doesn't mean they will make it to the finals. In my opinion, if they do make it to the finals against G'ville(I think they'll be there], they will be lucky to hang within 15 pts of them!

You may have had 11 assists the other night but what is your seasons total? I'd be willing to bet you don't have 25 for the whole season. You can't carry the team on your own. In order for you guys to go deep into post season, you will need #15, 30 & 34 to be more involved (escpecially #15). Just keep that in mind if you wanna succeed as a team!

PTS- You always gotta question the integrity of the officials, don't ya! Seems to me you would spend your time talking about the CC girls basketball team, since they only won 2 games last year. Don't you have anything better to do than to lay blame on others rather than facing the fact that CC boys are having an off year? It's getting old...........

utvols1, How many years have you been officiating? Have you ever worked any of his games? I have seen Duncan blow several gaskets during games but at the same time he hasn't been given a technical for his actions. I'm sure in certain instances he goes about his buisness with the refs the right way, but I'm not too sure that complaining about calls is refered to as "working the refs". He sure does a whole lot of that.

I don't call "working the refs" is exactly what you are seeing here. There is a correct & wrong way do doing this. From what I've seen over the years Coach Seals doesn't do a very good job of this. He trys to intimidate the referee and most officials I have seen on the court doesn't take lightly to these actions. In my opion, if Coach Seals was questioning things in the right manner, he wouldn't be given half as many technicals that he has received in his coaching career!

Last years team was a VERY TALENTED TEAM, but they could have played the best game of their lives and still not have beaten Humbolt. Like I said, Cosby had a great team last year but were just out manned in every way last year. It would have taken a bigger miracle than USA over Russia in the 1980 winter olympics for Cosby to have beaten Humbolt last year. Not a hater just a realist!!!!

All I"m saying is when your team shoots 11/56 don't come on here complaining about some bad calls! The call didn't did not dictate the outcome of the game. A poor shooting performance is what dictated the outcome of the game. No game will ever be played or refereed perfect!!!

PTS it seems to me that everytime CC loses a game you always seem to find one -particular call by an official to blame the game on. One call doesn't win or lose the game for each team. What happens within 32 minutes decides the game.[ free throws, turnovers, missed layups ect]. Can you please tell me how many free thows or turnovers this official with "notable ties" made or committed? Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you moonlight on the weekends as an official in recreation basketball? Maybe it was a bad call, but officials can't get them all right. It'a called a JUDGMENT CALL. I never hear you say "Wow what a great call by the official !" In the future, just admit CC didn't play a great game and was unfortunate to be lucky enough to pull off the win !!
