WHAT A GAME! It went Culleoka's way from the very start! I thought the humor of the bonehead shirts, cheers, and bone attire really pumped up the crowd and team. The team came out fired up and never ran out of energy and desire to win. Richland fans seemed to take it well and students were clever in their chant responses! I thought everyone seemed to be good sports and represented their schools and communities well. And culleokarep, you were right. I think those special gifts left at the school this morning only fired up Culleoka's players more. Heard that Moore Co. got some similar t-shirts and mail too! Hmm, seems Richland fans spoke a little too soon. CONGRATS to Culleoka for the 3rd win against Richland this season!

I don't think anyone is even trying "to sell you on the Williams kid." You have totally turned this thread about a game into one about a single player, which is sad. If you knew Demario, you would be astounded at your own comments. When he reached his 1000th point this season, applause was given. It was only at the last Culleoka game, that a basketball was presented to him by the principal on his 1300th point or so... Demario seeks no special recognition and is quite embarrassed by it! The boy is very humble and has so much integrity.

#1 And so...umm, when did you take the poll of the team's players feelings? With all due respect, YOU are the one who has no clue. #2 Did you mean play "against" him as on another team? Yeah, you'd be mad cause he'd be running circles around you. #3 Or did you mean play "against" him as on the same team? His teammates don't view it as playing against him, but rather playing "with" him. #4 And my alma mater happens to be in another city which is in another state!

If you're implying that Demario Williams is a ball hog or over-scored the other guys, then you should have been there to see for yourself. Williams passed the ball many times, only to be missed or overturned to Marshall Co. Williams involves his teammates in so many plays that he could easily take for himself. He is a team player first. In the crunch times, he takes shots when needed. The Beech brothers have really stepped up this year!

Nice reply! You're right...he does know basketball and I think they do trust him. You're also right about fits...coaches and teachers with certain schools. It doesn't always work out. And you're definitely right about ALL OF US having our obnoxious loud-mouth fans!

I've seen this floor myself! Pretty amazing...just an error in cursive script painting I guess. Seems like they would have corrected it. Must have been too expensive, didn't have the time before the season....etc. I just hope they didn't pay full price for the work! I'd hate to look at it all year though...I mean it IS in an educational building and all!
