Did they end up finishing well, I would say so, I remember beating Clarksville who no one thought we would beat and how exciting that was, but just responding to that one statement that struck me a little odd, I can imagine the criticism you were giving up to that time. You have mentioned the players you want to play, which does reveal a little, but out of curiosity what offensive and defensive schemes would you employ as head coach? (And why do you feel the need to be so negative about everything, can you not discuss without constantly taking stabs at coaches, players, etc.) Theres no need for that we can discuss on here as adults, that is if you are one. I have been a fan of the Pats for a long time and just want to see them do well, that's why I don't feel being so negative has a place on here, there are hard times you go through and in my experience patience and trust goes a lot further than being cynical and using lots of criticism.

Sure have, numerous times. I said he has some good kids around here and don't get me wrong I think he's a good highschool player, just don't agree he is the superstar you claim to think he is. But here me now, he is a good high school player and for sure can play some small college ball, no doubt.

Well if he is all you say he is, with his good coach, and all the good athletes he has around him, he should have no problem putting his team on his back and having a cake walk to win the state

Ha, that is laughable, I'm not sure he is good enough to be the water boy at Duke. He might could be the towel guy that wipes up the floor when someone takes a charge or something. (there is just a slight difference between the talent required to play at an Austin Peay as opposed to Duke)

It's starting to look more and more like I thought it would at the beginning of the season. Just about any of these teams could beat eachother on a given night. At the half way point it looks to be an exciting second half of the season...

Well part of getting ready for tourney is not all about winning and losing but playing tough competition from different parts of the state, which they have done. Maryville and Clarksville were 1 and 2 last year, both very good teams. Martin Westview is ranked in the AP poll in the top ten in their respective class (AA). Beech has proven to be very competitive in the region and the team they played from Missouri I understand was a very good ball club with good size. You have to challenge yourself along the way and if you lose some you just try to learn from them and overcome and get better. Can't wait to see if they can rebound against a good Dickson team who took NE to overtime tonight at Gamlin gymnasium . Should be a good one! Patriot fans arrive early, GO BIG RED!!

Well spoken. I just heard this morning when I saw a post on here and had to make a call, but I too hope this young man has come to this conclusion for the right reasons. I believe HC will still compete. They beat some of the best teams in the state in scrimmages already without either of these two kids. Dyer CO. and one other team, not coming to me right now. They seem to have good chemistry and are working hard. Don't count them out yet. Before season started you picked us last, we won a couple and now you have new ammo to put us at the bottom again. One player does not make a team. From what I can tell the coach/players relationships are positive, don't jump to conclusions there are other reasons that a player quits. As the wise and almighty prophet said I will say again, If a player doesn't have his heart in it then the team is better off without him. Keep picking us to finish at the bottom fastcat, I love it!! Good luck tonight boys. Big Red get up there and support, My wife does not seem to agree with me that a good anniversary celebration would be to go to the game. Haven't been told exactly what happened, but that particular kid had only been in the gym a week and probably played an average of 25-30 minutes a game. Who were they up 40 against? Guess I missed that one.

Don't look past Rossview yet Red Dawn as I'm sure our boys are not. Everyone's calling them overrated but I am not yet convinced. I know they have gotten off to a slow start but I still think they will surprise some people this year. Haven't seen them play since last year when they ended our season but I don't think they graduated very many kids?? How much better was Springfield than Kenwood?? I had Capps game I had to be present at and just got what I could on the radio??

Well now the article in the clarksville paper said that Kenwoods shooting woes are what gave Henry win. HAHAHA! Well i wasn't able to go because my kid had a event at church but I did get to listen to a lot of it on the radio. Did Henry cause Kenwood to miss shots or did they just have an off night and HC had nothing to do with it? Well this question is going to be answered differently due to what side of the fence you are sitting on in that particular game, but there are two obvious answers. Yes I'm sure that a losing team did miss some open shots they could have made but also one's defense and style of play can play a factor in altering shots, denying them altogether or getting into the offenses heads so that they do not make the shots they normally make. As the paper read that Kenwoods not shooting well is the only reason henry won, I think not. But it's early...6-0 (1-0). Roll Red Roll!!
