Dont believe Ensworth is AAA. But Gallatin is loaded and im NOT even a Gallatin fan. They could be as good as Antioch, but with Nollner coming in that should be the difference in the teams.

I watched Oakland play last year when they scrimmaged White House a few days before the state tourney. Maupins is a very good player , and should have a good year.

Graduated 3. But should be 10-12 deep this year. Last year they were 8 deep, and only played 6 in the state game.

Thats right Parker DID NOT play . I've also heard they had several other players out, and im curious who didnt play. I know AKERS and WISS we're out . But who else????

Mason's a super player and a great athlete. They also have some big receivers again this year after losing the 2 North Carolina signees at receiver from last year. I doubt Pearl has faced the hard hitters, and the size , and the physicality that White House brings to the table yet this year. I think if White House is balanced they will win this game, and i think if its 40 run--, 8-10 pass they will lose. I think that we have to keep GOOD teams off balance to win the big ball games.

40-3 White House. Sycamore had some drives but couldnt capitilize. Chad Neal had his 5th or 6th int on the year. Also both Paynes played well. Big game next week at Pearl Cohn.

I'll go with 34-20 White House.

Not saying Portland , Springfield , or Macon Co. are playoff teams. But i am saying theirs a long way to go. I would imagine La beat some weak teams in the regular season in their championship year, and they turned it on late in the year,

I seem to remember Livingston Academy winning the 3A championship two years ago after going 5-5 in the regular season. They finished 10-5 and won the state championship. Don't worry White House we'll bounce back . Just stay positive , and practice hard.

I only remember us trying 1 and it was blocked at the end of the 1st half. Someone said it was a bad snap.

Beech had alot more athletes in my opionion then Portland, Springfield, or Macon County. I would have to guess that we had more total yards then Beech, and im sure we won the time of possesion battle also. I just wish we would open up the passing game more. I cant see Parker having 1 reception , and Duty having only 1 also. They are both very good players and can make things happen on offense for us. I also think Neal , Barnes and Fulgam can make some plays if you get them the ball more. I understand theirs only so many plays you can run in a high school game, but i feel like all those guys can make things happen if they get the ball. I think Trox struggled a little tonight, but Beech has alot of good athletes on their defensive side of the ball which gave him problems. But i think he will bounce back with a solid game next week because he is too solid of a player not too. I also couldnt understand the double reverse pass with 1 minute to go in the game. That just didnt make sense to me. Beech knew we would be throwing. That play probably wouldve worked in the 1st , 2nd , or 3rd qtr. We have two great rb's so its hard to throw all the time, and im not saying that we should. But i know what Duty and Parker can do when they get the ball so it would be nice if we could get them the ball a little more. I do have to add that Trox punted fantastic tonight.

Could be 53rd at this point, but it will change because of the teams we have left on the schedule.

I , for one would like to see it. Not saying we would win, because Alcoa was fast, fast, fast, but Parker didnt play in that game , and if you did add Parker, Edgar and Allen, with Alcoas reciever gone now it could be more of an interesting game.

All are great players. But Parker will lay you out. He probably averages 30 yds per catch on offense. Not to mention his toughness playing with what hes playing with. Every player we're talking about is either a soph or junior. Neals a super reciever and also has 4 or 5 ints. Dixon is a tough runner, and Payne reminds me a little of Ricky with his quick cuts. I personally think alot of all those players, but i really think the "PLAYMAKER" should be getting some D1 looks from somebody because of his size, strength, hands , toughness, and love of the game.

Beech had a big win last night against Clarksville who were ranked in the mid state. Beech could be 4-0 from what i hear if it weren't for turnovers. But White House has the two-headed monster at RB with Payne and Dixon, and also great receivers , a huge offensive line, and an up and coming talented soph QB in Greenwade. It should be close but ill go with WH 27 Beech 21.

Hopefully we're gonna start rolling now. We need another game next week like we had tonight. It was good to see the big boys out there on defense for a few plays tonight.

Same ole rough tough Matt Parker. Troubaugh kicked well. I think he just needed some experience and confidence. Both runners ran well. Have to get the punt off quicker. The 97 championship team had to give some inspiration to the players tonight. GO BLUE.

Thoughts and Prayers from White House.

Tim your right. WH will be ok. I seem to remember last year in basketball when the # 1 team in the state (UNION CITY) beat WH early in the year by about 25, and everyone was saying how bad WH was. I also do recall that WH made the state tourney and UNION CITY didnt. ALCOA has a GREAT football team and im sure they will be there in the end, but WH has very good coaches and lots of talent this year so they will be a good football team before its over. Just keep working hard WH. We know you can do it !!!

Yes something was missing. Six starters from March. (4) injured. 1 quit , and 1 changed schools. 3 starters should be back in the next few weeks. 1 of them Matthew Parker could play for any team in TN. But from what i saw Alcoa wouldve still won, but it wouldve been closer. Im sure Alcoa will make it 4 in a row this year unless an upset happens. Im surprised the Maryville game wasnt closer.
