  1. Oh yeah, my bad on the names. My mistake.
  2. Hopefully no one is taking me seriously. Just funnin' with everyone. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> Seriously though, with the onslaught of winter and the winter sports season it is imperative to watch the weather before heading out to any game incase ice, snow or other inclimate weather occurs so you can adjust your schedules accordingly and not miss one second of the games! Think safety! Be safe! Enjoy the new season coming up.
  3. Cookeville will rule this year. Top notch guard play, size and quickness will overpower most if not all opponents.
  4. Wow. Montreal is down to 12 degrees right now and has a little light snow shower going on at the moment. I'm looking up more weather info for other cities. I'll have them later. Tomorrow in New Jersey it will be Saturday, February 24 2007.
  5. I just saw 2 dogs walking down my sidewalk. Their owners had them on leashes.
  6. No way Riverdale will win it. Cookeville has a better chance than they do. Get real.
  7. The weather in Alaska is turning a bit cold with freezing spray along the western borders. Please keep an eye on this for further developments and possible warnings.
  8. Be sure to check the Weather Channel and CNN before venturing out to the ballgames tonight. Thunderstorms could develop in the region on Saturday night. And maybe some snow in the Northeast. I predict the winner till be the one to score more. Just a hunch.
  9. Watch for the possiblity of rain in your area as a storm system pulls out of the rockies and moves east. This could make the roads wet.
  10. Current weather conditions at McGuire in NJ as reported by Gordo. Strong NW winds dominate the area today. Expect 20-30mph winds along with gusts as high as 45 mph in the area. Wind chills will dip into the teens as scattered flurries could develop. Expect no accumulation at all. Todays high should reach 35 degrees with the overnight low a crisp 22. A storm system out west will effect the area by Sunday bring a mix bag of precipitation. Precip could start as rain or freezing rain depending on the timing of the system. There is also an outside chance snow could fall for the region. Please stay tuned as the GFS and NAM models are updating constantly and get a better handle on what to expect in the region this weekend. Look for a warming trend during the 10 day run as temps close in on 50 towards the end of next week. Thanks for your attention. You all have been a great audience.
  11. The weather here is expected to get windy here with temps around 50. Scattered showers and maybe a thunderstorm will dot the area as the push of cold air heads east. The precipitation could change to or mix with snow and sleet before coming to an end. Be advised of rapidly changing weather conditions. Thank you.
  12. If Cookeville is clicking on all cylinders they are as good as any team as well. Ask Riverdale in their 2nd meeting. Seems like you are overlooking Cookeville a bit. They are in for a reason.
  13. Fair enough. Riverdale and Cookeville hopefully will make some noise in the tournament coming up. Should be fun. I remember that game and watching FSU and dook. I just chuckled because it was the norm for dook games. Nice to see them struggling this year. In my opinion that is one cheating program! Thanks for the info. I'll just get some score updates through my family there and the coacht scoreboards!
  14. What is a good radio station to listen to the Cookeville game in the regionals? I'm hoping to catch it through the internet if the station has live streaming. I'm stuck on the East Coast when I really want to be in Tennessee so I'm just out of luck. Thanks for your help in advance.....
  15. You said that you understood why Siegal fans were crying and whining about officials and Riverdale battled through the refs. Sure sounds like someone crying about officiating to me! Are you there to watch a good ballgame or criticize officials? They make mistakes... they miss calls.... get over it and enjoy the game. Interesting how you complain about the officials when your team wins. Watch a duke mens bball game and see what crooked officiating is all about.... especially if the game is at dook. I would have loved to be at the Riverdale/Cookeville game. Seemed like a very good game to watch and be at. I was pulling for Cookeville to win of course but congrats to Riverdale.
  16. Here we go again with people complaing about referees. How pathetic. I highly doubt Cookeville is any more aggressive then any other team in the tournament. As a matter of fact, I know they are not. Every team is aggressive. Including Riverdale. Can't you just enjoy the win without slamming the other team or the officials? STOP making games about officials and talk about the players! Enjoy the win, but stop crying about officiating. You made it sound like Riverdale had to overcome astomical odds to win that game. It shows a total lack of class and makes you a poor winner. Congrats to Riverdale and congrats to Cookeville as well in the tournament. Both teams played hard all throughout. What a pathetic post the Riverdale fan.
  17. If the reporter wants to see some horrible officiating then he or she needs to tune into a mens bball dook game. Those are some pretty horrible officials.
  18. starpres, I saw that stuff in their meeting at Cookeville when Siegel won in overtime. The officials did little about it. It was both ways and I'm sure it was both ways in the meeting last night. You make it sound like Siegel was the innocent victims last night. I hardly doubt that to be true and if they meet again Cookeville will dominate them again I'm sure. Like I said before Cookeville had an awful night at Cookeville when they lost and I doubt they would let that happen again. Stop complaining about officials. It's the easiest copout for someone to make themselves feel better about a loss. It's a pathetic show of sportsmanship.
  19. Didn't Cookeville win by about 20pts or so??? I was there for the game at Cookeville that Siegel won in overtime. Cookeville should have won that one by about 20 because I thought Siegal wasn't that good of a team. Cookeville that night just had a bad night. Cookeville just proved who the better team was last night. Don't blame officials. It's the lamest excuse to use for a teams loss. No way the officials can be a factor in a blowout like last night. Deal with it and move on. Thank you.
  20. I was just reading the jibberish above and still trying to figure it out. I bet this guy has never even been to a ballgame at Cookeville and more then likely is a terrible basketball player himself. Yes, 19-4 is an outstanding year. Thanks for stating the obvious and educating everyone on the "TEAM" concept. I'm sure you were the only one to think of it.
  21. Never been to a Cookeville game. I do however read the papers and the articles about them. Next.....
  22. What does having names on the backs of their jerseys do with anything? There isn't enough room to put them on their uniforms. Have you ever been to a game before????? The biggest problem with basketball these days is the lack of teamwork involved and Cookeville from what I've seen is all about playing as a team. 5 players on the floor working to achieve one goal. That's what it is about. Thanks.
