I agree with you completely and ultimately it is the parents responsibility...however, i think a coach should have a punishment also instead of turning a blind eye.

There was another school from Columbia, SC i think? at the Smokey Mtn. Duals today with the same attitudes. Jumping in a opponents face when he won the match celebrating, not shaking coaches hands, not clearing a mat when asked three times by the tournament host so it could be cleaned,etc....to me that shows ...no class. I think a coach should teach his kids to have some common courtesy and respect.

i wasn't even at the state duals...but i can almost bet the check that "c" was the seymour momma as i'm a seymour momma myself;)

good lord! that was waaaay too graphic....although, for some reason i see the picture very clearly

it was the coaches decision not the kids.

the reason some didn't show is due to the fact that it was an open tournament and not confined to "true" middle school teams.

bcb....i'm gonna have to wager on the notre dame/seymour match...seymour is hungry and coming for a win

i have seen him wrestle since then with the middle school. someone please help my uneducated self out and explain how a kid can wrestle high school then jump back down to middle school..was the catholic tournament not sanctioned?
