  1. I don't think anybody can answer your question and I don't understand it either. Why would you change a lineup that was winning. My five starters would be: G- McLemore G- Pace G- Little F- Nelson F- Mathews But it really doesn't matter what I say because I am not the coach, but I do think something needs to be changed so the Rebels can get back to their winning ways. Can't wait to see how Franklin does tonight at Centennial.
  2. Didn't know the Bristol kid might be out. But if he is that changes the whole game and i say Franklin wins anywhere from 5-10 points. This should be a good one.
  3. Franklin @ Centennial tomorrow night (1-8-2010). If Franklin plays like they did against Hillsboro, I see Centennial winning this game. Franklin did not shoot well last game (McLemore was off until the 4th and that Kibler kid was about 2-15) and it looked like the five best players on Franklin were never on the court at the same time. Plus, the way Mcmillian dominated Franklin, Centennial has that Bristol kid who can be just as effective because the lack of height Franklin has. It was a close game the last time these two teams played and I see it being the same way tomorrow night. Centennial- 64 Franklin- 63
  4. Franklin @ Hillsboro Tuesday tonight (01/05/2010). I believe I am going to go with the Burros. I noticed Franklin hasn't been doing as well as their last 5 games as they did to start out the season. I can't wait to see who guards this McMillian kid, but i'm sure Franklin will run a zone, which is smart. However, I think it will be close because of the McLemore kid, but i don't see Franklin having an inside game Tuesday night. Franklin- 57 Hillsboro- 60
  5. i noticed that the rebels are on a 2 game losing streak but both of the games were very close and Franklin probably should have won them. However, i will be interested to see how they do over the christmas break in Florida and especially when they come back to open up the new year with what i think is the strongest team in the district- Hillsboro. I can't wait to see this game, especially with that big McMillan kid. Who will match up with him. i figured franklin will probably play their slow, fundamental game and run a 1-3-1 defense like they always do against metro teams to try and slow them down. Good luck to the Rebels!
  6. i'm surprised too about this game but when i looked in the box score, i noticed that Siegal's best player did not play, that Hammonds kid going to MTSU. I saw him play Independence and i know for a fact he would have been a difference maker in that game
  7. Franklin with another impressive win over Siegel in overtime. 76-72. i am amazed by what Franklin is doing this year. i can't believe it
  8. First of all, "basketballfan23" who do you think you are trying to steal my name? ha its alright i like it. But anyways, this district should be interesting this year and i agree with Hillsboro being at the top of this district. McMillan is going to be a lot to handle considering this district lost a lot of their big men last year like Drew Kelly, James Haddix, and Kyle Teichmann. I cant think of a team in this district who can match up with him physically. I know centennial has that Bristol kid, but he's just tall and lanky and is not physical enough from what i've seen. However, for Hillsboro to win this district they must play as a team and under control, which i'm sure they're coach will have them do. After that, i like franklin, independence, and possibly centennial to make a run. I just feel like this district is down this year because it has lost so many good players compared to what i've seen over the past 5 years.
  9. Connor Moore- Overton Ryan Shelton- Brentwood
  10. I hate to say it, but I just don't believe the Rebels will be as good as they have been in recent years. However, they still have some good talent in Pace, Little, and McLemore and will be competetive but where is their big man? My prediction to win this district is Hillsboro. I don't know anyone in District 11-AAA who can stop Hillsboro's Arthur McMillan and I'd have to say that a good big man is much more valuable in high school basketball than a quality guard. It should be an interesting season.
  11. i'm pretty sure Betts from Overton won this district's MVP
  12. good luck to both Overton and Indy but I believe Overton has the team to do something in the long run.
  13. Science Hill will run Walker Valley out of the gym. I mean look at Walker Valley's schedule. They didn't play anyone. No wonder they only lost one game.
  14. I've been to a lot of district 11-AAA games this year and it does seem like Kelley should be the MVP of the district because he is no doubt the best player. However, the coaches vote on this award and it's not about who scores the most points each game because that is what "nashvilleHSfan" believes it should be based on because that's all he sees in the box scores and when he watches the games. No one looks at the all around ball players do, such as, rebounding, assists, points, blocks, hustle, sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, and the fact that Young lead his team to another district 11-AAA crown. So if Young gets the award i can see why but i know for a fact Kelley is by far the best player in this district.
  15. Good game tonight Independence. haha (i'm sure indyeagle will have something to say) Ravenwood-57 Indy- 51 Franklin-53 Overton-50
  16. Overton plays at Franklin tomorrow night. Any thoughts or predictions on this game?
  17. hahah ok sarahpalin. you're still an idiot! hahaha i love getting under your skin
  18. shut up sarahpalin. you're an idiot. stop posting
  19. oh shut up sarahpalin. you're an idiot
  20. Alright you need to keep your mouth shut because you are an obnoxious cretin on these message boards. Who cares about the regular season. You could lose every game and still make it to state if you won in the playoffs. The regular season means nothing except for seeding. And if i recall the soft and unrespectable team in Independence has lost to Lebanon (ha), White Co. (haha), and Brentwood Academy (hahaha). Franklin isn't very good though considering they've beat Indy twice this year and never lost to them since the school has been open (how much more proof do you need that Indy is not good), but of course you have an excuse. They didn't play good. Oh shut up! You can use that excuse everytime. Just be a man and say that they got beat because that is what happened to Franklin tonight.
  21. good prediction about the game "indyfan" and "sarahpalin." you all should work for sportscenter and be analysts. ha
  22. thank you for restating what you have already said on the other thread. no one cares
  23. Hey IndyEagle, Good wins vs. Lebanon, White Co., Brentwood Academy (who Franklin beat by about 30), and Hillsboro (I believe Franklin has beatin them twice), haha oh wait..........you lost to these teams. I'm not even a fan of Franklin, but you are just being obnoxious on this thread.
  24. I've watched just about every team in this district and i still see Franklin as the favorite to win it, but Indy close behind. These Indy fans are very supportive of their team, as are the Franklin ones. This talking on here means nothing. Just come to the game tuesday night and see what happens. I mean both of these teams are very talented.
