AA...Josh Sain...Great game against Brentwood...Even sat the bench most of the game with a bleeding nose...We'll be talking about him for a long time...

Understanding that this is hypo...I would certainly give this Liberty team the edge over a Brandon Wright led Brentwood...Wrights presense and points would not make that much of a difference...The current Liberty team beat the current Brentwood team with a final 27 point margin but anyone that saw the game saw that Liberty led by 32 at one point then simply called the dogs off...I saw Brentwood vs Bolivar last year and although they beat Bolivar decisively they just weren't impressive in doing so...The other key players from the past Brentwood team would not have had major impact either...Liberty lost Evans but they now start Sain (who should have been a starter last year)... So in a nut shell I would pick this Liberty team to beat any of the TN teams of recent years that have had successful programs...Hamilton would be the best match up...

The best team in the state of TN...Nuff said...

This game was attractive at the start but that didn't last long at all...Liberty was clearly the best team in the state tonight...They took Brentwoods cookies...There were two spectacular plays one by Sampson the other by Sain, fast breaks with behind the back wrap around passes that resulted in scores the crowd went wild for both...Absolutely a near flawless performance by Liberty...If they continue at this level there is absolutely no team that can challenge them in the state of TN...Nuff said...

They appear to be on stride...Monday night will cap the regular season...O.K. they have two more games that week but...

2A... Josh Sain!!! Will this kid ever get his props??? Mister consistency across the board on a very talented team... The only thing that keeps him from leading the state in ppg is the compliment of talent that surrounds him... When the big games are on the line check out his numbers, he always produces... If the supporting players had produced Liberty would be undefeated...Sain 24pts vs Oak Hill... He has made every all tournament that he has participated in this year... So if we put a little thought into this we can certainly make a valid arguement for a player of his caliber... Also remember that Liberty is trying to build for the future so when the game gets well under control the starters are pulled and that prevents a player like Sain from getting his 25 to 30 a game...
