  1. Sorry dood but you have no clue as to the truth! Its amazing they let people post on her to bad mouth or bash individuals, and those who monitor this should not allow that to happen. This poster has never had anything good to add to a post on any of the threads. No need for anyone to get on here and really explain what type of coaching staff the Lady Devils have. Those who are associated with the program know what type we do have! Unfortunately we have people on here that try to ruin an individuals image without knowing the truth! It just happens that the punishment for both boys and girls involved was the same. The punishment for the boys involved was the same as the girls involved. So to cry and complain about that is not very smart. CoachT I hope you will stop any bashing of an individual on these threads, please take action and delete any posts and revoke their privilages!
  2. Just a question....how do you know Morgan Shipley was "punishment subbed", as I recall, she wasn't immediately subbed for missing the layup. It was a few possessions later. Also, I personally know all these ladies on the coaching staff and have been to several practices to watch and learn from them and I heard alot of encouragement everytime I was in the gym. Maybe you should ask the players how many times Coach Crumbley, Coach Skeen, or Coach Murray pulled them to the side individually to talk them up and encourage them to play the way they know how. Being coachable is being able to take some constructive criticism and not make the same mistake over and over whether that be defensively or offensively. And by the way, no one was calling you a hater....I hope you are a fan and encouragement to this team. By reading Coacht throughout the year, the coaching staff and team really need some encouragement. Just remember, players may get on here and read this stuff, and people on here that are knocking the coaching staff are only putting negative thoughts into the team and possibly destroying something that is good.
  3. For those of you questioning, the coaching staff did switch to a zone defense the whole second half. And yes, it was the same zone that they played against west and tn high...a 2-3 match up. Yes Nicole Dickson was 8-20, however, you should get your facts straight before getting on Coacht and opening your mouths....the other players were encouraged over and over in time outs to penetrate and score or penetrate and pitch by the coaching staff. Yet, it was Nicole that was the only player that would take it to the whole. Morgan Shipley was only able to get off a few threes because Millingtons defense was extended and they had scouted beforehand that she could shoot the ball. If you watched any of the game, the weaknesses in the defense were the hi-lo game and penetration. Unfortunately, the guards did not take advantage of penetration. It is very easy to get on this site and criticize what these young ladies are doing. And yeah, hind site is 20/20.....the same site you haters think you have in the stands. And I do agree, if you can't stand Coach Crumbley, why come to watch? The sad thing about this whole site is that you have everyones opinion from the outsite and not the true opinion from the inside, from the coaching staff or the players. The other four players on the team combined for 16 total shots....it was specifically said on the bench that they could not win the game without 5 players playing together and taking some pressure off Nicole.... Nicole is not a selfish teammate...in fact, she is one of the most unselfish players on the team. There is a reason why she was a finalist for Miss Basketball...
  4. The joke is you!! You must have lost your mind. This is my wife you are talking about here. I have been to many of the practices for the past three years. For the past three years she has never sit in on Coach Duncan's practices. When her practice is done she is headed home to be with her family. And for some person like you to get on here and bash her and talk about her vulger language is nonsense. Why don't you be a man and come talke to me about these issues. East Tennessee basketball is the same it has been for the past ten to fifteen years. No weaker and no stronger. Since you have such a big mouth please feel free to come talk to me anytime!! Call any of her former players and there would be nothing negative said about her. So please just grow up and quit bashing someone.
  5. I would like an answer to my two questions about breaking the spirit and Greeneville getting behind. I stated many facts and gave you an opportunity to dispute what you have said.
  6. Some Facts for thought for the dumb: 2005-2006 Season A record of 30-8 with a trip to the state tournament. They win in the first round of the state tournament and play in the second round. That second round game was with a team from Shelbyville that was regarded as a very good team. They lose one senior in Sienna Forney that is currently playing at Walter State community College. 2006-2007 Season A record of 32-5 Doc Holiday Tournament Champions IMAC Champions District Champions Regional Champions Sub-state Winners State tournament Appearance They lose three seniors in Whitney Carter, Morgan Lamons and Ashley Deans who is currently playing for King College. 2007-2008 Season Current Record of 19-5 Doc Holiday Tournament Champions Coaching career for the team of Coach Crumbley, Coach Skeen and Coach Murray is 81-18 So for those who are don't have a clue let me be point blank and say that these coaches at Greeneville have done nothing but put successful teams and players out on the court. They are proven winners. To Mr or Mrs Oblivious let me ask you a question- "Break the spirit of these girls?" What do you mean? Go ask any of the 4 ladies that have graduated what they think about their coaches. "Getting Behind?" What do you mean? If you look at their record they have proven to be more successful than any other coach in East Tennessee. Who would you be anyways? There is not denying who I am. Where do you work or where does your spouse work? Would you like someone getting on here and bashing your spouse? I would persume not. These ladies don't deserve the ignorance that you are showing on these threads. Someone like you will only tear down and destroy a team. If I recall when Coach Crumbley took the job there was a fair process in the hiring. If you know so much about what needs to be done why did you not apply for the job? There is way too many sideline coaches that don't have a clue. So I invite you to come talk to me and justify why you would want to bash three wonderful ladies.
  7. I don't believe the first game that Greeneville played in had any calls that changed the game for either team....I guess that you failed to mention the disaster that Briarcrest had to go through during their game with South Greene. So I don't believe I would focus on the Greeneville Boys and Girls teams. Anyone that seen this tournament will agree that the officiating was horrible during all games, not just the Greeneville games. Lake Mary flew in to the tricities airport. Their travel time was only an hour. So I don't think that had a lot to do with how the game went. Give credit where credit is due and say that Greeneville was prepared for this team by their coaches and the players went out and executed the game plan. I have to say that we did get to see a lot of talent and a lot of good teams. I also think that we got to see some of the best coaches in the State of Tennessee (Mt. Juliet, Wilson Central, Briarcrest, Greeneville, Upperman) This tournament was great for the players and coaches. They will only get better and come tournament time they will be prepared to make it to the next level. My predictions for the end of the year is that you will see Mt. Juliet, Wilson Central, Greeneville, Memphis Central, South Greene and Briarcrest all at the state tournament. Good luck to all and God Bless!
  8. Greeneville definately is the best team in the past five years. They have one of the winningest programs in the state of Tennessee the past five years. Great coaching will give you great success.
  9. The three coaches work very well together. They have done a tremendous job and really quieted the critics.
  10. I don't see anyone getting upset over your opinion. To each their own. I do believe the record speaks for itself.
  11. Congratulations to a terrific team and Coaching Staff. Good luck at the Boro
  12. I believe that Greeneville's record speaks for themselves. They have only three losses to three very good teams. They also have beaten a very excellent Elizabethton team, a very talented Knox Webb team, the cream of the crop in the tri-cities (Tennessee High, Science Hill). So yeah I guess they are an average team. They lose a tremendous senior last year in Forney, the lose one of the best defensive players in the state in Anderson, they are being coached by three excellent ladies. So yeah again I guess they are a below average coaching staff. It takes more than two players to make a team. No doubt it helps when you have players like Deans and Dickson, but if that is all you have then your team is going to lose. However they have more than that. They have a group of unselfish ladies and a very excellent coaching staff. I think that you might want to go back to your day job instead of posting your b.s. on here.
  13. Overrated? Come on you have to be kidding me. West may be laying in the bushes, but they don't have anything to get them out. Where do you get your fact from? When it matters most? That is hilarious. That is why west was sitting at home last year while Greeneville went to the state tournament.
  14. I have had enough of this bashing the Coaching staff at Greeneville. I for one appreciate all that they do for their team. You have three ladies that are farely young when it comes to coaching. We all know that there is always going to be some decisions made that may not be the best when you are young. However I do believe that these three coaches have learned from some of those decisions and made adjustments. Their team has already clinched the IMAC. They are preparing themselves to make another run at the state. If you look at what this team has done this year you have to be amazed. The lost a very good senior last year with Forney. They also lost some other ahtletes to other sports. (Lauren Anderson, Samantha White, Makenzie Payne) they have had to fill some gaps this year. This team that they have is not the most talented team in the state. Everyone wants to bring up Greeneville's talent, but lets face it. They don't have a very talented team. What they do have is some girls that will work hard for three very good coaches. They have girls that will buy into their system. That is why they are where they are at. (23 wins and 3 losses) It takes some good coaches to get a team to buy into what they are doing and be successful. We all can understand what the main issue is. The GHS Lady Devils are being successful under three women coaches. That is the hardest thing for some of you to accept. I am sure if Coach Crumbley was a male then you would not see anything said about her. I am also sure that you would also see some more quotes from her in the newspaper. Good Luck Lady Devils on your trip to Morristown West. Beat the Trojans!!!!!!! p.s. Galyon has not outcoached Crumbley this year at all. I guess if you consider sitting at home during the state tournament last year then I guess she got outcoached last year then.
