If DC were not doing so well, people would give a rats @$$ about the new kids coming in. The same way with Dburg. They did not have a "winning record" so no one really cared that they had kids from DC who played on their JV team. Come next year, if they have a winning record, the choir will be singing about kids going to Dburg from DC. I GUARANTEE YOU IF THEY POST A WINNING RECORD NEXT YEAR, EVERYONE WHO IS SAYING LET A KID GO WHERE HE WANTS TO GO TO SCHOOL..............WILL BE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE DC KIDS AT DBURG! Just curious, why have we lost so many kids to DHS? I know most of these kids were in county schools which have always rivaled DHS, so.....why did they go to DHS? If a kid were to transfer to a team they knew wasn't going to be a winning team, what would motivate them to go? Please help me understand.... I don't get it.

And this guy thinks Covington could do what with DC? I can tell you.............NOTHING!!!!!!!!!! I watched Covington play Dburg 2X and weren't impressive with those victories. Like'em or not (DC) they have 1 loss and they are a hard working bunch of kids. How many out of state teams has Covington played? What were the results?........................Hmmmmm.......The kids played the schedule they were dealt, just like last year. And are winning. What's the point dlove is trying to make? Enough already!..............CJ is the most well rounded player in TN High School Basketball. Period. Anyone with any knowledge of basketball would recognize that he is a leader on the floor. Being a leader consists of posessing the maturity of unselfishness and also knowing when something needs to happen. CJ has the natural ability of "making something happen". He also has a lot of basketball knowledge. CJ is also a good shooter. If you choose to disagree, then you just don't watch him play enough basketball. If there were ever a kid that deserved a ring, it is this one. He has more heart for the game than anyone. There are more qualities to a "Good Basketball Player" than being a good shooter. This kid shoots well, distributes the ball well, sees the court well, handles the ball well, drives to the basket well and frankly......................I would put him against anyone in West Tn. Welcome to Basketball. This is not a powder puff sport. It's real, it's for athletes not for posters of these threads. Sorry for your feelings being hurt aout last nights game but if you WERE there, you would have noticed that the refs made bad calls that affected both teams just as they do in most games. However, that is the time that a team has to overcome all adversities and find a way to win. DC DID JUST THAT. weh, weh, weh!!!!!!!!!!!! IF, if, if, ...........Let's look at the whole picture. The whole foul issue was not even something that you could dispute. IT was in favor of CPA. It was not even close. THe number of walks that CPA committed, that were never called, was your second chance. Your talk about the clock starting late........... THe clock does not start until the ball is TOUCHED in bounds. THe 7 seconds put on the clock that should have been 5, well personally I think that if you had that many things going for you then you should not even complain. CPA will have to be on the money for 32 mins or they'll be watching the game from the top of the bleachers. This DC team may be small but there is not a team in the state with bigger hearts or a bigger desire to bring home the gold ball. The fact is no one quoted you saying 99.9%, it was a percentage given by adsmom. YOU were the one who got defensive because you could not read it correctly. Regardless of what word I use as a description of your attitude for DC, YOU still did not answer my question about who Troy and the boys were. And another thing, there are just as many fine people from DC as there is from the mountain top that you think you live on. If you do not like DC, that's your perogative and that won't be held against you. The name calling that you seem to use frequently just puts you in the same class that you describe the people who were escorted from the game.
