  1. I have tried to add scores as well and it won't post. When I click on "score?" on the team schedule, it lets me go to the page and it lets me enter the score but it will not show up back on the team's schedule. Thanks for any help with this. I have also added all our games to the schedule and it added some but not all of them.
  2. Has anyone heard if they have the pool play schedules done for this tournament and maybe when they will be posted or where we can go to to find out?
  3. I don't think it was too difficult from what I heard in stealing the signs, you're right, they do need to do a better job at hiding them. I just wouldn't want to play the game like that. It sure does take a lot away from the pitchers at that point because the batter has an incredible advantage over them. It's not 50/50 anymore. The batter is relaxed knowing exactly what pitch is coming. Just my opinion though. Oh and it was known that the Stinnet dad was a coach. I'm sorry I made it sound like I didn't know that. Forrest had a good team and I sure don't want to take anything away from that. I was just saying that Forrest had a huge advantage over 2 good pitchers if they knew what they were throwing. I hope the Stinnet girl heals to 100% and will be ready. She's a great softball player!
  4. I heard from 3 different sources (2 of which were not parents or really had any ties directly to the pitchers) that the Stinnet dad had stole TCA coach's pitching signs. The Forrest girls sure did take a lot of rise balls that stayed flat and hit curve balls to right field and waited patiently on some change-ups. I don't know, I don't watch for things like that but I do know that a team can hit lots better in the box and be relaxed if they know whats coming. Oh well, that was last year, a new season is approaching and I am sure Forrest and TCA will be there again along with some other great single A teams like Huntingdon and Friendship. I wish the best to all the teams across the state!
  5. Ivy has played in front of her TN coaches countless times. All of which (except this one state appearance) have been in the summer when she is pitching against some of the best hitters in the country. The Weeklys seemed to be pleased with her every outing they've watched from what I've understood. I know she pitched in front of them two weeks ago at their pitching clinic and did great, they were very encouraged by her speed from 43 feet!

Was the girl from Cleveland, Payton Tipton?
  7. The younger Renfroe doesn't pitch as much as her two sisters. She plays more at third base or shortstop. One reason she hasn't had the same opportunity (pitching) as the two older ones have had because she's on her sisters team. You usually can't use 3 pitchers and they all get quality pitching time. The older two pitched a lot as 8th graders because there wasn't as much pitching on the team then but the younger one didn't get that chance last year.
  8. Please understand that we (Trinity) have to play all the teams in our district twice during our season, we have no choice. Four of the five teams you mentioned that had losing records are in our district and the other we didn't meet until sub-state. Every year our coaches put us in tough tournaments (Commando Classic, Worth Tourn. and the strongest Kentucky tournament) so we can play heavier competition, knowing that it only helps us. We only got to play a few teams during our "regular season" out of our district and those teams that we played have all made it to the state this year. Riverdale game should have been a 1-0 game with Riverdale winning. Cat pitched an awesome 4 innings. She's great! It was 6-0(a pounding) but we made tons of errors, 5 unearned runs. Cat pitched 4 innings, striking out all 12 outs and had 2 hits. Ivy pitched 3 innings, striking out 8 of the 9 outs and had 2 hits. It was a very even game without the errors. We stunk! Goodpasture went into extra innings and they won 1-0. TCA had runners in scoring position with no outs a couple of times. We should have won that game. Again, great pitching on both sides. Devon is awesome as well! Creekwood was another game we gave away in the last inning. We didn't hit and they capitilized on one error and then end of the game and we lost. That's softball. We played in a very competitive Kentucky tournament (approx. 25 teams that were top ranked in Kentucky) and made it to the championship game at 1:00 a.m. and lost a tight one. Last year we had beaten 7 of the teams that made it to the state tournament including div. II state champ GPS. I feel our team deserves to go to state this year. The pitchers have been under a little different type of stress this year. Their grandmother who has been to almost every game they have played since their first year of softball (that's about 10 years) including travel, has been diagnosed with an aggressive growing brain tumor in late February. The very moment they were pitching against Beech in the Worth Tournament she (grandmother) was being put in a nursing home because the tumor is affecting her mental and physical abilities and she had to have around-the-clock care. That will affect a 16 and 17 year old in ways that no one really knows. This woman has made more pbj sandwiches, egg-salad sandwiches, brownies, cookies, bought more gatorade and paid for more admission prices to softball games than I will ever do. She has supported the game of softball in a tremendous way! Looking over their in the stands and seeing your grandfather sitting without their grandmother who has been to (almost) every game their entire life is harder than you can imagine. But, because of their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ , He has help them overcome all of it. They have learned through watching their grandmother decline drastically right in front of their eyes, that softball is not number one. The precious life that she has lived by supporting them in every pitch they've thrown is getting closer to meeting her Creator unless His will is to heal her soon. I am so thankful to our Lord that He has blessed them once again to make it to state under the conditions they have been under this entire season. Jesus has been so faithful. They are blessed by Him already even if they lose their first two games at state. We give GOD the glory for the great things He has already done!!
  9. I do know that last year was the first year Trinity played someone from the middle of the state first. The two years prior to that, they played their first game against teams from the eastern part of the state; University School of Johnson CIty and Midway. So, I'm not sure it even works by sectors, it didn't in the last few years.
  10. Shelby is playing with Southern Force Gold and Ivy Renfroe will be playing there also. Congratulations to Shelby on MVP honors!!
  11. I noticed that the State Tournament bracket was up but I didn't see the usual pairings already there for us to view. All it had was a simple bracket. Does anyone know if they are drawing it up different this year? I just know usually we can tell who we might play out of a given region if we make it that for.
  12. What is Forrest's record? I haven't seen them play this year. What tough teams have they beat and how fast do you think their pitchers throw?
  13. Do you know how fast their pitchers throw and who they are?
