Dyersburg has a great team this year and I am very happy for Coach Decker, Bowling, and Gamblin, but one of these years Dyersburg isn't gonna have 2 D-1 prospects and they are gonna have a bad year. I gurantee you right now that Obion County fans will not be on here talking crap about how Dyersburg's players are born losers. Dyersburg I am very sorry you have a fan like this loser. Trojan56 grow some and get some class while your at it. As for coach decker I know you, I played for you, and I know the pride you had in Obion Central and I know you wouldn't say that. Bowling had plenty of people to catch and get open. It is funny to me that the coach before bowling threw the ball 90% of the time and they had success. Bowling is a running coach and that is what he will do.

I played for both of these coaches and they are both great coaches. They are two in your face kinda of guys that will get right in there with you. They are both great motivators and can get you fired up for anything. Coach Decker and Coach Gamblin care alot about the game and take pride in their team and will do anything for it. Dyersburg is lucky to get two great coaches.

Beileve me I think 7 on 7 football passing isn't gonna help bowling out any in the offense I don't know why he is even going. Waste of time! They will pass 5 times a game at the most.

I know one thing I sure didn't wanna come to Dyersburg. And I think Logan injured his ankle the last scrimmage and Patrick Haskins finished out the game and led them to most of the touchdowns. Anyone there to see that one. Dyersburg has to knock off some people to be region champs so I wouldn't get that head big yet. Nobody has hard feelings about the Parker situation they are just wondering what the starting quaterback is gonna do. It is getting about crunch time. Just like yaw would be if Caldwell or ellis was deciding to leave or stay. Everyone in Obion County cares about football and the success of their team. But you know before yaw start knocking Central off, we seem to play good in games when we are told we are going to get killed, ask Covington? Good thing, in my time at central we all got motivated cause everyone thought the worse my first year. Then when they saw how motivated we were to win it motivated the people around us, which packed our stands out, along with the 90% throwing the football /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> . But what Central is back into doing is suffering mediocrity. That is from people that are suppose to be fans saying well we can do our best and play with heart, and maybe we can pull a few out of the hard region. We have never been real fast but we always seem to be pretty quick, and I rather have someone who can make cuts and juke than someone who can just run fast. You have to get past the defense to outrun them. We ain't running 40's we are getting past a 11 man defense and getting yards. We also always have had a good hard, weight program and we always have a strong team. Central also always has a bunch of boys that are tougher than nails and are conditioned prolly better than anyone we face. They also have a bunch of kids that are disciplined and will do anything their coach says to win and get better. So since everyone loves to talk about the negatives of obion central and I am gonna throw out some positives for a change and tell the REBELS good luck and just use all these post to motivate you to proving people wrong. I know you can!

Well as far as the whole dyersburg and Logan thing, what happens will happen. But if Dyersburg plans for Logan to run the football, well first of all he is very slow, and second of all he gets hurt every three games. So I would probaly look forward to him throwing, and hoping to have a good line. As far as logan being a D-1 prospect that ain't going to happen. You can have good accuracy and no velocity. One player also doesn't make a team and I promise if parker does leave, central has another younger quaterback to learn the new system of coach driggers and be just as successful. Well I played for Obion Central. I played one year for Coach Shanks, two for coach Hill, and one for coach Bowling. Well that's the main problem at Obion Central. They can't keep a coach. You have kids learning different systems every season it gets pretty tough. I love Obion Central and I still go and watch them play every time I can get back from college. Coach Decker has been around to see what made Obion Central successful, and it was stupid not offering him the job. Playing for him I saw his passion for football and what Obion County Central meant to him. Out of every coach I played for he was the one that got you the most motivated cause he played on that same field we were playing on. Obviously the administration's strategy on how they keep coaches isn't the best I would probaly change the strategy. If coach Decker leaves it is a big loss to obion central, but if he does I don't blame him a bit. Central needs a little bit of every coach I played for when I was in highschool. You are not going to take a team that have no speed and run sweeps, and speeds every play. Outsmart them! I am not a coach yet but in a couple of years I hope to be. Central needs that spread out offense. They need to be disciplined so they run every play precise and and at full speed. You might have a bunch of white boys but no matter what defense you run it's hard to cover it in high school football, believe me I witnessed it. I think it should be more balanced than when coach hill was there but run when you need to. Coach Bowling was an awsome coach and probaly one of the nicest guys I ever met. He needs a team like Dyersburg to run the offense he runs. Shanks was hardnosed run your butt off, and knock each others heads off. Central needs the long practices and discipline to motivate them and get every play perfect. We have never had and more than likely never will have a scat back that carries the team on his shoulders, so everybody has to do their job to get it done. I hope this new coach at Central comes in and is real big in motivating players cause after all the coaches leaving them they need a little bit of it. I also hope he don't settle for mediocrity and make Obion Cental the team to beat again. Good Luck Guys!
