I think SF plays a close game but CA wins. SF will get in foul trouble and won't be able to over come it. Tomorrow nights Cully/Richland game should be a good one. They seemed to match up pretty well last time they played. Could go either way.

I don't know when he will be back. He can definately help, but he has gotta play better than he was before he got hurt. If not then Goldman is the better fit.

I think it is odd that you are complaining about the officials. One of them used to coach at Culleoka. I also think it is odd that you are saying that your own team isn't any good. You stated that MTP isn't good and they beat Culleoka twice this year. So how bad do you think your team is? I will say that your student section was fun to watch. The same ref that coached at Cully was the one making all the calls. He was terrible. Hands down. Both games Cully has had a 7-9 point lead in the 4th. MTP isn't that good. They can be beat by anyone. Only reason they won last night was because they were in the double bonus for the last 10 mins of the game. Say what you want but it's the truth.

MTP won by 5. Cully lead most of the game and by as many as 5 or 7 (cant remember) in the 4th. One ref kept them in the game last night. The fouls were 8 to 1, 4 minutes after halftime with only one ref making a call. COUNTLESS over-the-back calls weren't called. MTP really isn't that good. They can definately be beat. I think the tournament might turn out differently than many think. Anyone could beat anyone on any given night.

Cully won by like 25 or 30 tonight. Played well.

Culleoka lost tonight but played alot better. Didn't look like the same team that played last night at CA. They really should have won tonight but got tired in the 4th and blew a 10 point lead. Once again, they played alot better.

I'm sorry for agreeing with Willie. Don't take anything on here to heart. Not saying Ryan isn't a good kid, he never gets in trouble and is always nice. If you recall I was defending him just last friday night. Don't get so pissed off, it's all in good fun. Good luck to the warriors tonight.

Did you read what thenomad said a few days back? That is pretty important information. Please read this. I would hazard a guess that they (Culleoka Girls Team) could use a hand in most any way shape or form. If I were you , I would quit whining and posting about the girls team/coach, and begin doing something helpful, such as volunteering time to the team. You could ask their coach if you could rebound for the team, or whatever. Let the girls shoot for an hour (apparently they do need practice shooting) and you run down the ball. Apparently you are into basketball. Maybe you could assist several of the players who are interested by coaching or assisting an AAU team of kids who want to play in a more competive setting. Their team needs help, and until you actually do something constructive about it, it doesn't look or sound good to anybody, inside or outside the Culleoka program. It seems as all you do is complain about them and their coach. Their coach may or may not deserve it. If he does, you can box him into a corner by asking questions. When are tryouts? What do you think about some of these kids playing AAU? Will you help with AAU? How much do you intend to practice over the summer? How many camps? Etc. You could ask which parents would be most likely to help as well. At least his response would render useful information. Again, the way I read thenomad, the coach didn't hardly even know if he had a team until a few weeks before the season's practice began. He certainly couldn't count on the Jr. High players at that point. Be constructive, not destructive. Not whining about anything. Don't think they have ever had try outs. Just come and go as you please. "If you have something better to do than practice and get better then by all means don't show up, you will not run or anything for missing practice to go shopping".Yes, the girls should play AAU, yes I would help, I would practice more than twice all summer, and definately go to a few camps. They have 17 players so there is no shortage of players. Before everybody starts talking about respect wait until you hear his half time speech to a team that is getting beat 40-3, from last night's game (and I quote) "Varsity, do you know why I don't put the 8th graders in? Because they will make ya'll look bad. To #&!$ with ya'll" Then he walked out. This coming from numerous players who heard it. How are they going to be a team when they coach says things like this? They have been rebuilding this team for almost 10 years now and they still only win 3 maybe 4 games a year. The girls play good in middle school and get the fire beat outta them in high school. Who catches the blame?? It starts at the top.

As far as being jealous well.....think again because you couldn't be more wrong. I wasn't really bashing Ryan intentionally. Just saying how it is at times. HE IS A GOOD BALL PLAYER. But sometimes he lets his attitude get in the way of that. Is he as bas as some of the other players around here....no he isn't. But the struting around and dropping the ball mid-court after being called for walking is uncalled for. Cully-CA game got UGLY. CA won by a score of something like 64 to 12. How long will the school let this happen without at least making a change????

Game was closer than the score indicates. It was a 7 point game before the free throws at the end. Mathew Williams makes that team. Without him they would be HURTING. Why did SF get so upset about the CA student section? Looked more like a joke than anything. Only the front 2 rows were high school, the rest looked to be about 8 years old.

He ALWAYS shakes the other coach's hand. If he shakes the player's hands, it is usually after a hard fought game. He may act like an idiot sometimes but almost always shows the other team respect after the game.

I think it was a combination of the 2 during the game. I know it was Best that run his mouth after. Well considering the fact that pilkington said something while best was in front of him, so best lost his temper. It's a huge rivalry gm so I dnt see where you get this was a horrible gm. Both teams played great d and there was alot of contact. Sf led the whole way and cully got it done in the last min. That situation after the gm was unfortunate for both players as they both might serve a 1 gm suspension. Good game to watch maybe. As far as being a good BASKETBALL game it was not. Both teams shot about 30% and had way to many turn overs. Where you getting SF was ahead the whole game? Cully was up by 1 at halftime? I was standing close to where it happened and Ryan didn't say a word to Best. The only person he said anything to was his girl friend who is a cheerleader. I can't see them getting any sort of suspension.

suprisingly there isnt much talk about it...for some reason theres not many culleoka fans this year...like wheres ds, and cullyrep, and all them this year...did they jump ship when all the talent left? (when i say the talent, i mean the state runs every year) I don't know where those guys have been. Haven't seen either one at many of the games. Probably because of work if I had to guess. Something that happened last night that nobody has mentioned was the "situation" between Best and Pilkington after the game when the players were going in the locker room. The 2 played each other pretty tough the whole game and it boiled over when Best got in Pilkington's ear and said a few choice words as they were entering the locker room. Luckly for the boys, Slatton got between them and seperated them. I would like to give some props to Josh Goldman on the good game he played off the bench last night. He grabbed alot of rebounds and had 7 or 8 points. He was pretty sick and probably shouldn't have even dressed out. After the game, they had to pretty much carry him out of the gym. Not only did he play well, but he showed alot of heart as well. Hats off to him.

i could go back, to when yall played the first time, and either you or sfwhateverhisnameis said almost that exact same thing... It was me that said it last time too. Neither game deserved to have a winner in my opinion.

You know those games when you hate to see a team lose? This WAS NOT one of those games. I hated to see a team win. Neither team shot well and turned the ball over. Cully probably shot 30% from the field and less than that from the line. Not a good showing by either team. Ref's were fair both ways despite what wildcat blood will say.

SF over cully by 2+ I'm not givin SF the automatic win just yet, their going to have to come out and prove they still belong atop the district, this would be a nice way to get back on track. I give this win to SF because of homecourt advantage. Yes I can read. The way you put that made it sound like you didn't expect to win going in. My little sister even thought so... Now to the game tonight, Cully shot a veryyyyy low percentage against SF last time and still had a shot attempt to win the game. They are shooting alot better and SF couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat right now. But I guess that 7th ranked D got the warriors last time. BTW what is SF's D ranked now?

Heard CA got smashed. Not to mention dunked on 3 times. I feel sorry for whoever plays them in sub-state.

what did i predict? ha i have seemed to forget. its either, SF gets on track and wins, or they get blown out...i don't think this will be a close game....either way. That Hampshire would beat SF before the year is over.

With both teams playing the way they are right now my honest opinion is....I don't think this game will be much of a game. Cully is shooting the lights out right now with James Upshaw, Ryan Pilkington and Riley Walton. It's pretty much pick your poision right now. If they stay hot friday night, SF won't have an answer. Cully by +10. Monkey that prediction is looking better and better. The way the 2 teams are playing it wouldn't surprise me one bit.
