  1. I agree with Indian and Oldschool. Sequatchie County may taunt players on the court but when we do, we make sure we're talking about the number on the jersey, not the person wearin it. No one is arguing that Sequatchie County should of won, but there still seems to be some discrepancies over whether or not what Grundy was chanting and yelling was out of line. Well.. it was. Sure, a push in the back may not of been the best thing for an SC player to do, but he was in the heat of the game, there's no justification for personal taunts and flat out uncalled for jeering from the GC fans sitting in the stands. You talk about us trying to set a double standard for our fans, but you should probably go back and try to read your own comments from a different perspective. I know I wouldn't start making fun of the way someone from Grundy looks even if an entire crowd was doing it, and i would hope you wouldn't either. If you wouldn't then there, you've proven my point, if you would, then I guess I don't find it hard to believe your from Grundy County.
  2. Oh, and here's a little known fact for all you knowledge seekers out there! Did you know? Grundy County was actually the birthplace of "Class"? Yes it's true, the founder of the town, Lester Grundy, was the first Vampire in America to successfully steal a car from a neighboring county and sell it for scrap. Thus giving Grundy the prestigious reputation it still holds today! Thats right! From Post-Game fight attempts to the Grundy Crowds own personal bashing of Daniel Carwright, one of the best Sophomores in the state, Grundy County knows "Class"! And boy are they not afraid to show it!
  3. This is not good. Our cover is blown. We, Sequatchie County as a whole, have shown our true colors, not those of Purple and Gold, but the dark colors of Deceit and Shame. Our fans have caused a scene of pure terror. We lurk in the shadows. We consider ourselves creepers, waiting for the right time to deal out aggressive pushes in the back and when things go the wrong way we send our fans in who intentionally try to cause a brawl. Today is a sad day for Sequatchie County. All these years we've gone unsuspected by the outside world of being the maniacal rule breakers we are, but now, the one they call Rubberboots has unmasked us, and our true intentions of undermining everything that District 7AA High School Boys Basketball stands for. Not only was it unnecessary, it was 100% unnecessary. Thank you Rubberboots, for opening our eyes to this revelation. We shall try, in your honor, to uphold all that is good and just in this valley, and may there never be another very aggressive push in the back again.
  4. Good Luck Lady Indians!! You always pull through when noones expects it, lets do it again!
  5. I am from Sequatchie! What i said was at least there is one sport our Crowd can cheer for without being disapointed. Maybe if you had came to one of our games you would have noticed that when we had a chance to win our crowd was going crazy and the game ended and we lost and that disapointed the crowd, we weren't disapointed at the players we were disapointed because we got our hopes up and then they got crushed, i am friends with every football player on that team, i know that every game they went out there and played their butts off, i cheered for them every game whether we won or we lost, but unfortunately everyone in the stands can't be like me and everyone feels different way and after so many losses the crowd loses faith and stop cheering, as for next year it may be another story but that doesn't help this years crowd any, they want a sport they can cheer for this year that wont' let them down and until now we haven't had one with the exception of volleyball and bowling which arent "large crowd" sports. The lady indians this year have given hope to our crowd and why would u hate the break the news that sc is gonna win every game next year? All i want if for them to win every game next year!! If you new me you would know that i am one of Sequatchie Countys Biggest supporters, and just because i say something that ppl don't want to hear doesn't mean its not true
  6. Ditto, the crowd was intense, the coach was intense, the players were very intense, and at the end when the students stormed the court it was really great. I think Sequatchie County can still pull themselves further.
  7. Sequatchie Once again racks up another victory! We were behind much of the game but this shows that if your try hard, good things will happen. Lets Go lady Indians!!!
  8. I'm really nervous about tonight.. Sequatchie County doesn't have many sports teams that we can be proud of... but i have confidence in our girls... they can do it!
  9. Good Luck Lady Indians, I hope to see the best tomorrow.
  10. What time does Grundy play? Will Sequatchie even be able to get there in time to cheer? I know that we are leaving sometime after 3 but i'm not sure what time the game starts.
  11. I never said i wasn't proud, I am very proud of our crowd it very well may be the loudest in the district (i haven't seen many others outside of our district), i was saying that to point it out, but i seriously doubt grundy will be cheering for us, just like Howard they will be cheerin against the team that beat them
  12. Sequatchie is going to Cleveland State to play Tellaco this Monday, any ideas on who will come out on top?
  13. But still you have to admit, with bowling and cross country and sports liek that its a slower pace for the crowd they aren't "stand on your feet and cheer you vocal cords out" kind of games volleyball was good i attended those games loved it but even though it isn't slow paced its not a stand up and cheer the whole time sport either, football on the other hand is, but after so many losses the crowd begins to lose faith and stops cheering especially when they get their hopes crushed twice after cheerin like crazy because we might actually win, the boys basketball team was the same way just not as bad, we got our hopes up and were disapointed even though they came through so many times, on the other hand the girls basketball team has had so many wins and played so well that the crowd isn't afraid of losing, they have confidence in the players... thats why i think the crowd has gotten louder, because we trust ther players more
  14. it seems to me that sequatchie county has its very good nights, such as the Grundy game at Hixson where the lady indians scored 51 points in the first half, and its bad nights, such last night when they had trouble handling Sweetwater. And it seems to me that these bad nights appear randomly. Hopefully we will have a good night Monday. On a different subject the crowd at Sequatchie County seems to be getting louder and louder every night. A man from Grundy warned Sweetwater about our crowd saying they were Almost rabid, and he also said he hopes that sweetwater can still hear when they leave the gym. I think that its a good thing, at least there is one sport in this School our fans can cheer for without being disapointed.
