First of all dyersburg did not beat covington in a scrimage in the preseason. 2nd of all covington did beat usj. 3rd of all hardwick is not the only good pitcher covington has. covington has 3 or more pitchers that can all throw well. covington is playing very good. watch out for them

Dyersburg scrimmaged covington about 2 weeks ago and got beat pretty good. I hear covington has a new coach and they return like 9 or 10 seniors. They should be good. Maybe someone can give USJ a run this year...or atleast come within 5 runs of them.

Covington should be in the top 6 teams. With the win over Bolivar covington is looking like a team that u dont want to play in the post season.

Yes covington did play Brehm Prep school and won by like 10 to 12 i think maybe a few more or less. But it does seem that covington is starting to come together. D'Alvin Brown and Derek Walker provide a nice combo on offence as well as the rest of the team on defense. This team has a good press. Giove credit to the Coach because he always uses it at the right times.. Good Luck Chargers.

Yes they def got lucky in the postseason......lost 1st round district game to covington, a team that had already beat them twice, won and advanced to play covington again in the district semifinal.. covingtons bats fell asleep and they couldnt buy a hit and ripley managed to win that game....they then went to dyer county and upset them...i dnt really no how but they did......lost to usj in the region final after losing to them in the district final....once they got to substate it was a joke..they beat up on some memphis team that wasnt very good.......so all in all they were won by skill or luck when they had to.....and thats all that matters

They may be young but i think Covington will be alot better this year than they were last year. With a new coach i think they could really turn this thing around and with only one senior these junior have alot of playing experience and i think that the tables will turn a little bit for them this year..

Covington has faced two of the toughest teams in the area in weeks 1 and 2 and now they start district and region play. They have been killed by the big play but it is to be expected when you play team 2 classes higher than you. White station was good but i think Tuepolo is the best team around. Covington plays crockett this week and i look for them to come out ready to fight this game out and of course crockett will be lookin for revenge from lasts year playoff loss to covington. Who do yall thinks wins this game and why???

seein how munford isnt any good u need to replace them with covington... munford hasnt beaten covington in 10 years and wont beat them for 10 more

Some teams have a weight lifting program that goes on during the summer, probably most teams. Some teams is not just baseball but they join in with the football team thats lifts in the morning. is lifting at 5:30 in the morning and playing two games every day to much to ask of 9th, 10th and 11th graders. I mean weight lifting is a necessity i no but every day and also play two games a day cannot be good on a kid. wats some of yalls input on this

Yes covingtons coach left to take a job in kentucky so his twins could be around their grandparants. there is still alot of talent in covington but it is all young talent. this up comming year there will not be a single senior on the team so look for covington to be in up comming years.

USJ shoul win this game in about 5 innings!! they are the best team i have seen play in a while. if they dont win state i will be really suprised they are really good

What about covington? i mean they were state runner up last year and only lost 3 seniors! they have strong pitching in Toby Joy and they can hit the deep ball too? i look for them to make some noise and wont be surprised if they win it all!!1
