  1. CBHS won today in decisive fashion beating a solid team out of cottonwood utah. the colts of cottonwood have won back to back to back state championships in utah. final score cbhs - 19 cottonwood - 10. the brothers will face the winner of calvert hall and whoever they play today. stephen thompson will be on the hill for the brothers.
  2. I think that Tuesday nights game against Nashville-Overton is evidence enough that CBHS is one of the top teams in the state.
  3. i really do not think Bartlett has anything to be worried about, it is extremely early in the year to be getting doubts, I think this will just be fuel to the fire personally. But we will see, CBHS will have a tough time staying undefeated in the tourney out in Cali. But Bartlett will be fine, this is a small bump in a very long road.
  4. I heard a rumor that they lost to a team from Lancaster??But then again that is just a rumor. Any help for any Bartlett guys out there would be helpful.
  5. Christian Brothers wins again beating Cordova 7-2. Drew Martinez pitched 6 innings giving up 2 runs and Blake Powell finished out the effort shutting down Cordova in order in the bottom of the seventh. Michael Blanchard was solid tonight at the plate against a pitcher that had 4 scouts at the game watching him. Drew Martinez 1-0 CBHS 3-0
  6. Highlights: Michael Blanchard 4 stolen bases Stephen Thompson 6 innings 8k's 1 bb Drew Marinez 2-2
  7. well it's kinda hard to tell you are a bruins fan with the way you talk about bartlett. which i don't really understand how you can since you, i guess live in jackson. and if you could care less about bartlett and cbhs then why do you post on every for um that deals with them.
  8. Hey leftylegend, if you really are coming on here to talk smack and you are at usj, man stay in your own dam business. you obviously do not know what you are talking about, bartlett and cbhs are evenly matched and it would be badass to see them play a three game series. As for USJ we will see waht comes of that when CBHS plays them twice.Hey leftylegend, if you really are coming on here to talk smack and you are at usj, man stay in your own dam business. you obviously do not know what you are talking about, bartlett and cbhs are evenly matched and it would be badass to see them play a three game series. 9. Here is a good topic for yall to talk about and stew over. CBHS and Bartlett, both nationally ranked teams, evenly matched, both with good divisions, both looking for a repeat title. My question is who loses the first game. Me being a CBHS fan my whole life, I would have to say Bartlett would, but this one could go either way.
  10. I think I would have to agree. I think that Christian Brothers has possibly the fastest team in the state as well. I would challenge anyone who thinks they are faster. It will be near impossible to get any kind of basehit in the air against them. By the way, Christian Brothers handled Brighton tonight in a scrimmage, the final was something like 19-1. The outfield accounting for 9 or 10 of thier hits and runs scored.
  11. CBHS vs USJ twice this season...should be a good matchup
  12. Shut up. You probably play for Ryan and are trying to talk them up. It's o.k. to complete your words when you type them.
  13. Sure they hit home runs, but look at the summer, Christian Brothers lost 6 games total. That is not playing agianst area teams also, most of them were agianst older JUCO teams. And if I recall they beat the Dulin's 18 year old team, with Blake Forsythe on it. Christian Brothers hit a total of something like 5 homeruns this summer. They scrapped for every win they got, and they got it by speed and relentlessness. Have you watched how they run the bases, that is how they win games, not by the long ball. By making plays and pitches when they need to and by people running the bases and getting hits, not home runs.
  14. I am not jealous at all. To be completely honest with you. I just don't want someone making it sound like Christian Brothers was afraid to play Bartlett this year. That is totally untrue, and I am going to stand up do that. Now whether or not you take it as me being jealous or not is your own opinion. I think both Bartlett and Christian Brothers both have excellent teams this year.
