First of all our first baseman did nothing on the field to get sat down, and if you were at the game you saw that he did nothing. If he did do something then please tell me because seeing as how i play second base and im beside him the whole game i dont know how i missed it. Second of all you have no idea what he did to get sat down if he even did anything. In reality all he did was stick up for another player to the coach and he was punished for it. Dont talk about things you dont know about. You also dont know what happened in districts so dont try to tell me about it. You heard the Unaka side of the story so im sure it was exactly what really happened. Maybe you all arent the class act i thought you were. When you have been around Unaka fans half as much as i have then you can tell me how much class they have.

You and the whole Unaka family need to learn to have a little class. We were pulling for you guys to win on friday, but i guess that is just the difference between us and you. Sure we like nothing more than to beat the crap out of you on the field, but we also want Unaka to succeed in the post season. Just being honest but you better hope you dont run into Rockwood. Unaka does not have a pitcher that they wont put up at least 10 runs on, and you guys aren't a very good hitting team so that wouldnt be a very close game. I played second base for UH and I appreciated the class that both the fans and the players from Rockwood showed on friday. They are a good ball club and a class act, and as a senior in my final game I appreciated that. Congratulations to Rockwood and good luck.

This game is really a toss up. It all depends on pitching and who comes ready to play. These two teams are pretty evenly matched, and it is a heated rivalry, so it should be a fun game. We'll just have to wait and see.

I wouldn't get cocky just yet. It's a tough road and you all know that as well as anyone. I hope Unaka does get back to state. It helps this area and conference look better. But I hope UH can do it as well. We have to make it past monday befor we start looking at coming up to Stoney Creek.

If you were actually at the game then you know that Otha did not trip anyone. The hole in his pants didnt magically appear after that play happened. If you are going to post at least get your facts straight. So what are your thoughts on Medina throwing dirt into Otha's face? Was that right?No. Otha dropped the issue after it happened, but the Unaka players kept talking crap to him. We may not be liked, but unaka is not exactly everyone's favorite team either. I have listened to Unaka fans for a few years now, and they argue every call that is not made their way. Unaka fans are the most childish bunch i have ever seen. Grown men and women should not come to baseball games or any high school sporting event, to harass the other teams players. The whole game while Evanshen was pitching the fans were constanly making comments directly to him. What makes it worse is the fact that they are adults. They need to learn to respect the game and their opponent enough to grow up. So if you want to talk about growing up then talk to YOUR FANS!!!! Sure #2 has a whining problem, but as soon as he starts it the entire bench is yelling at him. We are trying to take care of our issues.

His actions were the wrong thing to do, but Unaka are not free of fault either. They definately aren't angels. They were the instigators of the whole incident. Nobody mentions the fact that 12 was intentionally cleated. Unaka tried to play dirty the rest of the game. Also laying a hard tag is just good baseball, so he did nothing wrong in that respect. Church layed a hard tag later in the game to the UH Right Fielder and the dugout stayed silent.

North Greene is in district 1A. Greeneville. They dont bring a whole lot to the table, or at least they havent in the past. They made a run in the district tournament last year only to get killed by a bad washburn team in Regionals. This apparently made them very confident coming into this season, and they are predicting a sub-state appearance. I dont know why.

How will Unaka do against UH this year? Both teams have some talented players and i think they will play a couple of close ball games.

I know A ball may have some bad players, but there are also some really good ones. I dont know of any babe ruth teams that could beat unaka, or UH. Unaka played good when it mattered last year, and had nothing handed to them. UH didnt and that is why they got put out. You cant discredit a team because of a few bad players you have to look at what they do as a whole.

How did that happen? Did Church get all-state cause he is Unaka's best player. Where are Church and Medina going to school next year?
