Is there anyone to stop usj in pool one? I mean really....Pool 2 is loaded and Pool one (no disrespect meant) is not that strong.

Jealous is the right word from the earlier post. As for the GP coach, he is a good man and good coach! period! As for the post from Baylor, I lost count after the fifith time as to how many on field trips the Baylor coach made to argue something. And there was no comment from the GP coaching staff about stalling, it came from the stands because i sat next to the person who yelled it. I was disappointed to see a fine program like Baylor and Coach Etter be such sore losers. Complained all game about EVERY call and anything that did not go their way! Be careful ye who casts the first stone...no one is perfect.

Exactly! The key is integrity! Ask the kids, they know which coach really means "the best 9 will play" and which coach is not telling the truth. No matter how good a coach or liar or both...kids know which coach has that integrity. You handle it by putting it in the lap of the AD or administration to hire people with integrity. Demand the best for our kids, not just a win/loss record. The almight win/loss record gets substituted for integrity and the ones that suffer are our children.

Any thoughts on the Thursday night match up between Goodpasture and Mt Juliet? Seems to be a good game for the opening round on paper. Will it live up?

Goodpasture wins 7-6 in 8 innings! Great game! Frey and Moffitt started. Frey kept GP in check until being pulled in the 4th and Moffitt was excellent until being lifted in the 7th after a game tying homerun by #6 for Beech. Big plays by both teams for early in the season.

Same ol' same ol'! BGA cream of the crop, MBA looks weaker than usual though, Father Ryan will be very competitive as will BA, Davidson wishes they could be one of the big boys but out of their league, Ensworth will soon be there and fight for the top of the middle region. USN and others are spoilers in that league.
