Tyler Trout is my grandson and I am very PROUD of him but, it takes 9 players to make it happen. This has been a TEAM effort all season not a one man show from any one player. TEAM and COACHS great job go DAWGS

Wartburg should win that district

You are so RIGHT! The coaching staff at Wartburg is a VERY GOOD STAFF. The head coach Dan Shoemaker is someone I have known ever since he came here 15 years ago. He is not only a good coach, but he cares deeply for these kids. There is talent here but injuries have hurt their chances this year. Next year's classification changes and a larger talent pool will help. Give Dan and his staff time and they will build a program here that we can all be proud of.

#10 Tyler Trout broke a bone in his left hand,this happened in Wartburg's first offensive series. The Dr. taped it for him he came back and played offense and defense the rest of the game.

Tyler Trout has a grade 3 shoulder seperation, he received this injury during the scrimmage with Seymore. He may get to return in 2-3 weeks. This is his senior season and he wants to return as soon as possible.
