  6. I'm ecstatic to see this type of conversation about Memphis Girls Basketball. We have come a loooooong way.. The foundation is being set. Memphis is preparing to be the dominator of Tennessee basketball.. Watch out... It is clear that Central, White Station, Millington, Houston, Lausanne (in no particular order) are the class of town right now with more to come.... It will only get better.....I LOVE THIS GAME!!! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  7. The schedule can be found at http://memphisgirlsbasketball.blogspot.com...s-schedule.html
  8. Looks like Coach T himself added the initial post of the event.
  9. There are some talented young ladies in the Memphis Area with college talent. Andrea Holmes - Junior Guard. Mitchell High - awesome scorer, and defender Mary Jackson - Junior Guard/Forward. Oakhaven High - tremendous athlete will be a 2 or 3 in college. can score, rebound and defend Jasmin James - Sophomore Guard. Bartlett High - has range beyond NBA three pointer LaTasha Laws - Junior Guard. Norhside High - aggressive scorer and rebounder To name a few.
  10. I looked at the brochure. There is a fee. Unfortunately, the majority of the events of this type are not free.
  11. This event is an awesome opportunity for young ladies in the State of Tennessee. College coaches are limited on the number of days they can come out an observe events and how many coaches can be out at the same time by the NCAA. This is especially an issue during the regular season because they are in the middle of their own season. There are only so many high school games they can watch. During the year, college coaches have three different time frames where they can observe a non-high school game at a NCAA-Certified Event-- A weekend in April, a week or so in July and a weekend in October. These non-high school events gives a coach an opportunity to see more young ladies, from different schools, in a more competitive environment and at one time. It is actually a win-win for both college coaches and players. In this environment, players has an opportunity to showcase whether they can compete against top talent and sometimes show more skills than they can display with their high school team. Like I mentioned earlier, this is an awesome opportunity for young ladies in the State of Tennesse because they do not have to travel out side of the state to attend the event (if invited) or be left out because the event is team format only.
