This CCS team was supposed to be going through a rebuilding year after losing eight starters off last years state team but they have shut up all naysayers by making a surprise appearance again at the state tournament and they will finish no worse than the 4th best team in A/AA for 2007. Don't doubt this team.............

What the heck is "centaurs"? CCS has proven all year long that they can compete with anyone and this game will be no different.

Has Portland played anyone state ranked in A/AA this year? I just don't think they see the level of competition that CCS has seen (Notre Dame, CSAS, Knox Catholic).

What a week for CCS. They knock off undefeated CSAS on Tuesday and then beat Notre Dame last night with both of these games on the opponents home turf. What's your thoughts on this game?

No, the loser has to travel for a sectional game and if they win, they will make it to the state tournament.

This game will be played Thursday night at Notre Dame for the third time with the first two matches going to Notre Dame both scores were 1 to 0. This is for the Region 3 crown. What's your thoughts?

Notre has way too much for Boyd on defense and offense. I say Notre Dame 4 to 0.

This game will be Tuesday night at 7:00 at CSAS in a Region 3 Semi-final. The two teams tied 1 to 1 during the regular season at CCS.

Notre Dame had to drop three games off their schedule because of their suspension from last year. It will be Notre Dame against Chattanooga Christian for the district 6 championship thursday night.

The Chattanooga Christian senior class should be very good next year. This is a so called rebuilding year after losing eight starters but they are 9-4-2 and they have another shot at getting back to the state which would be a huge accomplishment. They will be returning nine starters next year.

Notre Dame is the best team in the region with second place going to either CSAS or CCS since they tied 1 to 1 during the year. It's a shame CSAS didn't play Notre Dame during the regular season.

Making it to the state is a great achievement and winning it is even better but how many soccer players ever make it that far in their four year high school career? CAK and Catholic are great teams and they always do well but it is after all just a game and after high school or college the soccer playing days are pretty much over for most players and winning is great but the memories will live on forever.

I agree with the semi's but it will be CCS upsetting (if you really want to call it that since they tied during the regular season) CSAS and Notre Dame beating Boyd and both CCS and Notre advance to state.

Brad Gibson from Chattanooga Christian has been a starter since his freshman year and played in the state championship game against CAK that same year and also played in the state last year. He is also having a decent year this year even thought they lost eight starters due to graduation.

I understand what you are saying with so many district games to play but I just wondered why CSAS doesn't play any tournaments or any out of state teams becuase when you do that you are going to have your hands full therefore you are going to give up more goals because of the tougher competition. This weekend CCS will play Knox Catholic which is the top A/AA team in the state, now that will put you on the spot but to try and be the best you have play those kind of teams.
