Chloe Moore McNeil - Indiana Hoosiers Tess Darby - Tennessee Lady Vols Greenfield High School Accompishments: 5 time Miss Basketball nominees - All State 6 times - 34-0 Senior season - Teammates that were unselfish, worked together and built something special I just want to congratulate two awesome young ladies on a great freshman year. Both girls are great basketball players but even better young ladies. These girls make Greenfield Tennessee proud once again. How many girls coming from a Class A school that graduated 35 kids (boys and girls) can say they had two girls playing in March Madness as freshmen? I don’t think that’s ever happened and may never happen again. Both girls played quality minutes for their teams and both look like they have a bright future. I just wanted to recognize two awesome young ladies. Greenfield is proud of you.

Thank you we sure wanted to finish it last year. It was sad for the girls they worked so hard. That was a special team.

Somebody is a little testy. I was pulling for GC to win it all but sometimes you have an off night. GC will be even better next year.

That GC/North Green game sums up this season pretty good. The very same North Green team that lost to Greenfield by 30 last year just beat one of the favorites this year Gibson County. I hate it for Gibson County but that speaks volumes for how good that 2020 Greenfield team was. I’m done.

Gibson County by 30, it will be over by half. The Union City team last year was a much better team. GC could go all the way this year. Clark Range, Summertown and Gibson County have to be the favorites. Mckenzie’s day is coming but just not this year. Greenfield has there hands full with Peabody, I will call it a tossup. Coach Tori Liggett has done a great job after losing two awesome Miss Basketballs. District Coach of the Year in my books. Its really amazing these girls are playing for another chance to go back to state. Good luck girls Greenfield is proud of you.

I’m out of the loop I guess. Sounds like 1A is better than 2A again this year. And maybe again next year.

Yep but Gibson County moves up next year. They going to win it this year. West view still has Jada Harrison and they will still be the team to beat in 2A in west Tennessee. But there are better 2A teams in middle Tennessee. Weathers will still be there too.

Chastity Fuzzell is the reason Heather didn’t win it. Any other time frame Heather would have won It. Chastity was the most athletic girl I have ever seen and could have been a star on a lot of boys teams.

Single A Greenfield would have won the overall Champion last year. They were the best team of the three classes for sure. (A - AA - AAA) Also beat the Private State Champ. TCA

Congratulations on a big win for McKenzie. Mckenzie has a good chance to go far. Please don’t try and belittle Edie Darby. She is one of the top players in west Tennessee, a class act and a great young lady. I wasn't there so I asked the scorekeeper and just to set the record straight, she had two turnovers in the game.

I don’t understand your post. Tess stood up for her country which is not the norm in our world today. If you are wondering about Tess, she is an awesome young lady that knows the Lord and is not ashamed to share her faith.
