  1. While it's cool you kept our kicker in mind...he is not in same league as Molder. Until the last 2 games he was very inconsistent. But, in last 2 games made all his kicks I am pretty sure...2 of which were from 35 and 38. Our RB would be Wade and I would take him as well.
  2. I'd also take Coats at FB and Brunsvold at a LB spot
  3. Special Teams: I'd look at Hord as a KR/PR...lol. I've heard he can bring em back. /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" /> /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" />
  4. Well I'm turning in for the night guys...good luck to region 5 Friday. Good night /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" /> /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" />
  5. Well said Trey...and I figured out the they are always right part on my own lol. I'll talk to ya Friday. Good luck to the Champs and Cougars.
  6. Yeah you mean stats as good as #5 is fast and if he gets to the outside its gonna be a long night. Good one. I can take the heat...what stats were given in someone saying the FB will "lay the wood" on someone. ??? Also...I would like you to find the quote where I called #54 better than Ray Lewis, cause I don't recall it.
  7. Thats normally the plan. Find out who is better on Friday. See ya there
  8. Isn't that the truth. I didn't know we were traveling to WC to play the undefeated TN Titans. They apparently are so good we have no hope. Us poor little Cougars might not even get a 1st down all night. I'm worried. BIG time worried
  9. Wow...I'm done talking to region 6 people. It is ya'lls way or the highway. Apparently MTC might as well not even come down this weekend. When we got the 4th seed to play WC, we should've just packed it up and called it a year because we have no chance according to WC folk. You know what...you may win this Friday....I would say it could happen. But, you know what else is possible is that we can win too. That would be the reason both teams will suit up and put the pads on and play 4 quarters Friday. But, as far as me talking on here to get continuous babble about how good WC is...I'm done. See ya Friday.
  10. cwood is better than region 5's 3rd and 4th place team and cwood didnt even make the playoffs No reasoning. I have read in some places that Forest could have beaten WC after they beat us. Well, we beat Forest and then everyone starts throwing out that we are 2 to 3 score underdogs Friday night. But the CWood statement...I'll ignore that. With no reasoning or details it is irrelevant.
  11. You know your #54 isn't as good as ya'll make him out to be, you look at his stats and he has no assisted tackles so any tackle he even participates in ya'll give him a tackle for, so i'd take our fullback over your 54 because his stats are what he earned and not what was handed to him.and i'm pretty sure everyone except mtcs fans can agree with me. I tell you what...how bout you watch #54 play Friday night and let him prove himself. Obviously all the WC folk can't understand that they have a chance to lose Friday. You just come on that field expecting to win and we'll see how the game goes. The stats have nothing to do with his talent. I'll let him smack a couple WC players in the helmet and they'll think what they want.
  12. No problem. Ya'll may have a more relaxed and enjoyable night than the Cougars. I know we're in for a battle, but we have been for many other games this season as well. We can pull it out.
  13. Thanks Trey...you can expect more texts from me Friday as well lol
  14. HA HA HA HA HA...that was more than a chuckle. I cracked out loud on that one. I agree though. Bad time of year to be disagreeing. We are in the playoffs!!! Woo Go Cougars!!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  15. I hate to say it...but that did make me chuckle while reading...just because I know who this is and I imagined hearing them say it in person. Would've been humorous /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  16. Thanks C11...seems like I needed some help to clarify my stance on MTCS. I love the school. If I didn't I wouldn't still be associated with it 4 years past graduating. I would have up and left it in my past. Man...if only I could take back words this wouldn't even be talked about. I did not mean what I said as a slap to the school. They have new gym facility, weight room, football field, baseball field, and were in the process of building a track team etc. There is good athletic momentum in all directions at the school. As I said, its the little things. The biggest thing that got to me last year was the front sign advertising the Art Show rather than Regionals. The night after we had beat Forest and Eagleville in back to back breath taking games to clinch a spot...I pull in to school and see Art Show??? I was like huh? Seriously? That was my point. But, when we are hosting either the district or state tournament this year, or if you choose to see some regular season home games...look for me. I will be MTC'd out riding a mower with a drag on the back or tamping and raking dirt. Thats what I do. Or if you want to find me at the football games, look for the MTC'd out 21 year old sitting with the baseball team. That'd be me. Thanks again for the comments C11. And sorry for the misunderstanding BATW. Can't we all just get along?? /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" /> /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" /> /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" />
  17. Wow...I am seriously not going to get into it with another Cougar fan. However, I have been involved with the school for now 10 years. As you have called people out for not doing research in other threads I would have to do the same. First off, let me clear one thing up...to you and to Coffeebreak--I am not speaking of being overlooked in the facilities area. Trust me, if you knew me you would know. I know CoffeeBreak knows what I am speaking of. I take more pride in our field and facilities than anyone, and it is one of the nicer setups around. Not many people my age would come to work on the field for free as much as I have for years. Not bragging just supporting my case. Now...I am kind of ticked that you would try to question how big of a fan I am. I have been on these boards all year supporting the Cougars. I have been to every home game and every away game I could make it to, and plan to ride down Friday. The "attention" that I speak of...is little things that go unnoticed. That's why no one knows what I mean. For years I have heard of our boys sitting in chapel, and this went on while I was in school there as well, and the soccer score or something would be announced from the previous night and everyone would applaud them and wish them luck. Baseball may have won and no one says anything. Secondly, last year we made it to the regionals section for the 2nd year in a row and to let people know about it while driving down the road we advertised that on the front sign didn't we??? O wait....no we advertised an Art Show that was 3 weeks away. At that time we were the only sport in the school still active, meaning the rest had been eliminated from their season. That is the overlooked part I was speaking of. Little things. Things that you don't know about, but am sure you will try to call me out on again. But, before you try to question my level of support to the football team...know the background. Kind of a slap in the face. Ask CoffeeBreak how much I care about the program, heck for that matter ask Cascade11 or TreyVols99. They will tell you differently than you think I am sure. Unbelievable. O yeah..good luck Friday boys!!! Don't think I have said anything supportive all year according to BATW
  18. My Picks: (I hate doing this because I know nothing about region 6) *I am going to do it this way, because like the last 3 weeks I have been right on my picks lol* So: Cascade--in a big way. Offense is VERY good. JB-- Defense is VERY good. MTCS--Cause I don't pick against them. Haven't all year and won't long as we keep playing. and McEwen--Look at what they did to us. I was quite impressed. Beat us worse than anyone else. Gotta say there is a reason behind that. **So yes, I am biased by picking all Region 5 teams. But, honestly this season Region 5 probably had 5 and at times 6 teams that could be playoff worthy. I may be wrong come Friday night around 10pm...but until then I will support the Region I know. LOL Go 5!!!** /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  19. Ummm...I understand that completely. I was not saying that 11 v 1 if our 1 was #54 that he would still tackle him. The comment about "our FB will lay the wood sometimes" made him sound out to be a hoss...my response was to say that if he were to get thru the line and see #54 in open field I'll take my odds on him more than likely not running him over.
  20. Tell him to run it at #54 all night. I'll take our chances /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> Not avoiding helping ya...just soaking in some information. I'm not the type to open my mouth when it is not informed. I had no clue about WC...now I have some ideas. LOL
  21. That's pretty much it...pretty traditional offense. Not many tricks or anything. Probably a run oriented team that will pass if running doesn't work early. I'd say 60% run/ 40% pass. Trey can second that or correct me if that seems wrong. Depth is not there but they play HARD. RB is a horse. QB makes big throws. Defense is consistent. Do not give up too many big plays. That's bout as good as I know to put it. I have to ask the same about WC now. I know nothing bout them.
  22. Well thanks...as last night we did get some bounces and lucky fumbles...we may need some luck again this week. But, we will take the underdog role
  23. As I said last week, I know and agree that the visitor's side of the field is not at the level it needs to be. I think it is obvious that they knew the home crowd would come out on regular basis, but I don't think enough thought was put into the visitor's side. Believe me...it frustrates me to look across the field and see so many people having to stand even though they paid the same amount to get in. I am not sure where you are talking about the harsh step up to a sidewalk. I know most everywhere has the curb step up and not a ramp so yes I can imagine it is hard. I enjoy the new facilities and only see them being improved. The school puts a large focus into football /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" /> ....other Cougar fans will get that punchline. Sometimes everything at the school is looked over to take care of football. Thats a shame. Maybe in 2 years you will be sitting in some nice bleachers like the home side. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
