Thoughts and prayers from Middle Tennessee Christian School. Riverside was just at our place this past Friday night, where Stephen hit 3rd in the lineup. News just doesn't seem real.

Forrest gets a win over Community 6-3. Eagleville jumps out 4-0 early, game gets tied 4-4, and then Eagleville scores a 5th and hangs on to a 5-4 victory. Tomorrow....Forrest vs MTCS 5:00, and the winner plays Cascade immediately after.

You have to love end of the year scenarios. Going into the last week, technically 1-7 are all still possible to change.

All of the series for next week are supposed to play Saturday/Monday. In doing so, everyone will have 3 days off before the tournament starts. Weather will play a role in that, as it always does come this time of year.

Eagleville beats Community 10-0 to complete a sweep. Huntland wins 5-2 over Moore County to complete a sweep. Should be an interesting last week of play. I heard all others were rained out. Make-ups today. I know Eagleville is at Community at 6:00. Others I am unaware of...

I try to stay off the boards as much as possible. However, I did want to share that at MTCS at least two freshmen have had significant playing time and starting time. John Messick in LF and Kyle Howard at 2B/3B. Both have handled the task and held their own at the plate.

I can tell you are new to CoachT. CoffeeBreak and myself posted stuff all season long about 9-A and got 0 responses. Guess no one wants to step on toes on here.

I agree with Mr. Vandelay. I have seen the Colvin kid. He didn't only put up the numbers, but was a game changer. Great player.

Thanks a bunch for the comments. We enjoyed this tournament. Wish the ball could have fell our way one more time, but props to the Eagles for capitalizing on our mistakes. I really appreciate the comments about the field. Roberts, myself, the boys, the junior high team, and with the help of Warner Athletic Construction have put a lot of hard work into that field. Hopefully it continues to get better. Thanks to everyone for a good tournament and good sportsmanship.

For anybody who was not at the MTCS vs. Eagleville game, you missed a game to remember. 12 innings, about 7-8 double plays thorughout the game. Bases loaded with no outs at times, and the team gets out of the jam. Unbelievable game, Eagleville deserves it. Good job.

In Tuesday's action.....Game #4 of the Tourney will be MTCS vs. Eagleville @ 2:30. Game #5 Community vs. Cascade @ 5:00. Last game of the night will be Game #6 (Loser of Game #4 vs. Loser of Game #5) @ 7:30. Game #6 is an elimination game. Should make for another good night of ball. Come out and watch!!

I am unaware if the bracket will be posted online anywhere. I will see if we can find a computer genius to figure out the how to's on doing that. However, CoffeeBreak broke it down exactly right. I can tell you that the tournament will be held at Middle TN Christian School in Murfreesboro. It starts Friday May 1st at 5:00. Friday's games are 5:00 (MTCS v. The Play in Winner) and 7:30 (Forrest v. Community). I will double check times, but I am quite positive that is right. Then Saturday's games are at 12:30, 3:00, and 5:30 Should be a blast!! After the meeting at Logan's....the flip turned out giving Eagleville the #2 seed. MTCS the #3 and Forrest the #4. Brackets are laid out and ready for the Tuesday play in game

9A Tourney starts Friday of this week. Should be a good one, as always.

After a long season in a fun district....I guess it is about right that 3 of us tie. Shows how competitive the district is.
